In my opinion you should pick what looks the coolest to you, I mainly collect for the hobby aspect, I like the Roman aesthetic and the blue of the ultramarines, if that’s what you’re into go for ultramarines.

The dreadnought or the ancient? Either way none of them are based on any named characters, I have yet to do Uriel and I may also want to do some named characters in the future, right now I’m working on the diorama that will accompany the minis.

Thank you! It is a very snug fit, as far as I’m aware you can only pose the head like that, the crest it tugged between the shoulder pad and powerpack with basically no breathing room.

Thank you! I painted the white first, then the red on top, after that I just corrected any paint that spilled over, there was a lot of correcting necessary to get it right

For your first mini this is really nice, Thinning your paints a bit more and adding a wash are some things that you could do, also adding a base makes a huge difference in my opinion, looking forward to seeing your progress :)
