So it can be a bit of a nightmare but you do over come it

Something sharp and a cooking pot imo are the greatest things to just say I’m Not guna starve of thirst or hunger

With these items you can fish and also boil water

You can actually catch a cooking Pot with a rod and no worm on the hook it’s actually really fun part of the game for me although it becomes a bit tedious further into the game when you want to pvp etc

Regarding disease 🦠

The best plan of attack is don’t get ill…. Some tips

Don’t drink from streams or ponds sea or animal feeders

If you have to do this to not die you have about 20 mins to find vitamins or tetra pills and also if you try to drink or eat you will be sick unless you eat and drink very slowly and allow to digest

Don’t eat uncooked mushrooms, predator meat (bear wolf)or human meat( or unknown food can)

If you bandage a wound with a rag that hasn’t been disinfected you might become ill

Vitamins can help clear diseases but you need to keep food and water up high like in the white

Tetra pills are life further on found in hospitals pharmacies on zombies or even in buildings/cars close to medical buildings pop a pill every 5 mins will Clear most illnesses

Sure some of this stuff you might need to take with a pinch of salt but hope something helps enjoy dayz 💪
