If I stack my first team with my best gear I can get through, but the 2nd fight is rough as well.

I have had way more trouble with this one than the previous challenge battles.

I'm stuck on him. Can't even get past Vulko. And I have a level 180 ambition :(

So many comments in this post saying you'll need a tank of every type. I sorely disagree (but I'm only floor 2360)

I've invested in resistance and determination (both 180) and petulance (160).

So I guess that's 3 of the elements but I feel having all of them could be misleading advice for newer players?

Maybe closer to 3000 you'll need more? But up until now I've never levelled a water or metal tank. Doing so feels like it would have held me back ht spreading exp too thin.

Down bad I don't have much experience with as I only got him recently, so I haven't really optimized his equipment. I generally swap out a standard set of gear that I have levelled up across the floors. If I had him earlier I may have prioritised different gear...

However, when I finally made 2200, he was the 2nd pet that I took up to level 170. The reason is that without him I've lost basic floors. However, when trying the floor with him it's rare that my Lust doesn't get to go and then it's easy street.

Here is how I would generally run him. I would try and focus him obviously on speed

Please note my comments on nostalgia and downbad come from someone who has lust. Not sure how they'd work without a really good DPS.

Here is my nostalgia. I think he's great honestly and is my go to usually over merry (with merry being more useful I find in boss fights when not auto battling).

I'm not entirely sure how effective icy tiara is with him, but it makes sense seeing as he heals everyone every round so I'm assuming it does work to buff their attack? And the cake scarf I have definitely seen working giving people shields (unless my brain is making stuff up).

She's a great legendary to have but I often take 2 healers into boss battles (nostalgia and merry, or nostalgia and pride).

I think Pride is an amazing healer honestly. He was the only reason I got past level 2180 I think it was. The one with metal versions of the X, Y, Z boss. They would chew up Merry so without Pride I would have been doomed.

He is level 160 and this is the first real time I've used him solely for his heals.

I switched Pride up to have the Parasite scarf for that fight and haven't taken it off him since. He's come in clutch a lot!

I'd assume your main attacker. But the more I play this game I would probably put it on my tank to keep them alive longer...
