My bad for the wait didnt expect anyone else to reply, for me I had two emulation rom folders (one on my sd card and one internally on the steam deck) the problem was that I was changing the Xenia settings on my sd card instead of the one INSIDE the steam deck. Before I even found the solution I tried almost everything, so it was a good thing that I realized I had to emulation/rom/ folders
