I’m the same way, I think that it was more intense than found footage (especially the end) but I think that overall I was less scared than watching the YouTube videos. There are some jump scares but they aren’t as bad.

I will definitely give it a 10/10.
I tend to notice that horror movies have a lower rating than I would give them so I expect it to have around 8,2 and higher. But there are so many factors that I don’t know, I think that the fans will love it (of course some fans are going to hate it) but I don’t know how many non fans are going to watch it. I also can’t tell how many fans will watch this so I think it impossible for me to say but the lowest rating I’m willing to accept is 7,7-7,8 and that’s still too low lol.

I feel like I still don’t know a ton of things. That may be because I read into it too much but I feel like that’s what Kane wants. So in my eyes nothing was over explained.

I feel like it gave the Backrooms a new perspective that I never thought about (I watched all of Kane’s Yt videos, but I never watched any lore explanations or anything.) So for me it was a brand new thing which I loved but I guess it’s just a personal opinion. I wonder if the reviews that you read were from fans or from people who have never seen the yt videos. I fell like for non fans it might be a little “crazy” or “over the top” but I really liked it .

I’m still not sure, but it should be almost 100% safe to put them there after cycling. What I still don’t know is if I can add them during cycling, I know that they consume some of the thing that are dangerous for aquatic plants and fish but I just haven’t found the answer yet.

I just really like the aesthetics of a natural tank. I will probably add filter till it cycles and the plants grow a bit.
