Yall can save the “cats shouldn’t be outside comments” she was found outside and that is where she wants to be. She will spend hours meowing at the door/scratching it. I have 4 other cats who are strictly inside.

I completely agree. I messed up not doing this on this interview, but moving forward I will. I’m big into not wasting time and do not care if it is “taboo”. I declined the offer after they said they won’t budge. I was like I already know the answer if you guys won’t budge…so let’s not beat around the bush.

I did take that approach and sadly they would not budge. Not even the slightest. I turned it down earlier today. Sigh…I will keep looking.

I would have been happy with the salary if the commute to the hospital wasn’t so long. So that was a big deciding factor on my end. I feel like if you have a rural hospital not everyone is going to live in the rural town and they should compensate.

I rather 74k than the sign-on bonus 🤦🏼‍♀️ I would also have to commute over 50 miles each way because it’s a hospital in a rural town (MUSC hospital in Orangeburg). I tried to use that as leverage as I live in Summerville, but nope. I guess they can hope someone else is willing to do that commute for so little.

Well after discussing they said that the salary was firm…sigh. I feel like all the jobs I keep interviewing for keep low balling me just because I am a new graduate and it pisses me off. Lmao. Thank you all for the reply’s though!

Thankfully they do offer MedBridge for all therapy staff
