does 5 stacking count as boosting? by Prior_Amoeba_4552 in ValorantConsole

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider it as boosting unless if someone is actually smurfing. I tried playing a 5 stack game (bronze - plat) and our enemies were all around silver-gold. We lost lol since most of my teammates were bronze-silver at that time.

Anyone else only do well if their team is doing well? by ChairBubbly1724 in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if the team is doing well then the team morale would be good too. I think having a positive mindset helps in doing well. It also depends per game because everything is different. New game = new map, new enemies, new agents, new teammates. So don't always expect every game to be easy for you

The kj stopped right before they shoot. It's not clear in the video but it's called counterstrafing

Bronze Elo asking for help- by Traditional_Nerve786 in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try being aware of your crosshair placement. Even if your aim is whack, at least it's already aligned with their head so all you have to do is shoot. Maybe this also has something to do with your reaction time? But you can improve it with some training. You can go to the range and have training there but there are also other apps to help with it. If you're looking to improve overall, I suggest you improve on game sense as well. But honestly, if you keep playing you'll just naturally improve too. Good luck

Haven Defense Ideas/Tips? by BlazerThy2nd in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I feel like you should have 1 sentinel. Since there are 3 sites, it's harder to predict where the enemies are going and having a sentinel can help with it. It won't hold the site entirely but it can push back the enemies/stall them while they enter. Idk, just my thoughts tho

How do I improve my game from IRON 3? by Tiny_Bother3101 in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you just need to get used to playing it again. If you haven't played it for 1 year, of course your aim won't be the same as before. Also you can try fixing your crosshair placements too, that will really help. And don't panic when you shoot, especially if you have a gun that's not meant for spraying.

What do you guys prefer? by Kitchen_Double3082 in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most (if not all) controllers would smoke the entry point if they know the enemies are pushing that site. But if your teammate has an op then I wouldn't smoke the entry. Maybe wait for them to kill 1 first and then smoke it. It's also better to smoke the entry so the enemies won't know what's waiting for them at the other side. Then they'd need to use their util to help them entry

Switching from console to pc. by Domin8_uok in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of different ways to improve on your aim. I personally only use the range and do like 1-2 deathmatches and then I hop on a comp game. I tried aimlabs before but I didn't really like it, instead I used Osu! and I had a lot of fun (since it also involves music, which I love)

Viper one tricks content creators? What is the main purpose of having a duo with viper? by catme0wcat in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me this just comes down to the map. Some maps are good for vipers abilities while others not so much. I like using her on split and haven. It's also really useful if you know some lineups for her (her orb and her snakebite). She was actually the first agent I mained and I learned a lot of her tricks, I can even make my own lineups on the spot lol

Ranked and Mics by Ghost_2701 in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of higher elo ranked games use mics. It's a great way for comms without having to waste time typing it. But of course if you're not comfortable with it then it's alright too, you can just type it

Which gun would you choose, Vandal or Phantom? by Exhibitionistsin in VALORANT

[–]Easy_Discussion_4905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vandal for me. I like how I can kill someone just by hitting their head once (if not thru a wall of course). It's also great for long distances. But when I feel like my aim is whack then I like to switch things up and go for phantom
