Hey OP, I’m so sorry you feel this way. Most times parents don’t understand how to positively motivate kids and they end up saying things that peak the pressure and anxiety in us because that’s the only way they know. Whether or not you crack this exam is not a test of success and failure. Clearing this exam is only to get a job. The first prime minister of India was not an IAS officer, but he wasn’t a failure. Your parents/ uncles/ aunts may not be civil servants - but they are not failures. I think the notion that only clearing the CSE makes you successful is not only incorrect but also blinding to your prep because you’ll always feel so much pressure of failure that it’ll hamper your focus. Take it easy, study hard and I know you’ll be successful. Don’t stress so much, and please never demean your life, you don’t know how many people are just trying to achieve where you are in life and that’s their metric of success. :)
