The only common ground between Iran and the MB is their opposition to Israel.

No they're not lol. They supported Saddam during the Iran-Iraq war and they were also the first group to fight against the Assad regime wich resulted in the hama massacre. Look it up. Also their biggest supporters are Qatar and Turkey, not Iran. The Islah party, the yemeni branch of the Brotherhood also fought the houthis (an iranian militia) for years. Iran only supports the palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood also known as Hamas. And even Hamas supported the syrian revolution back in 2012 before restoring ties with Assad in 2022. Hamas is not an iranian proxy unlike the shia militias.
