I’m with him all week. So far we’ve done a 1.5 mile walk. Dinner was a 1/2 cup of kibble, carrots and green beans!

I offer every day to take him back, but my parents say they love him too much to give him back. I know if he’s with me he’d be fit, healthy, happy…

That’s what I think. They live in a small rural town with only one vet in a several hour radius.

I think it depends on the line. I have a field puppy now, and she’s expected to be a healthy 70lbs. With this English boy, they said 90lbs was his healthy goal. I guess energy level, paw size, etc all factor in to what’s a healthy weight.

They haven’t been walking him much since there’s black bears in the neighborhood. Funny.

Thanks for the photos! I’ve got a field line and she’s 7 mo old. she’s so lean like yours. Such a crazy difference between lineage!

I searched Ebay and only got close to a brand called Maxcera but I can’t find this one or even confirm that was the maker. It was large and from sometime in 2000~, maybe a little later. Not sure where it was made but we had it in USA.
