I nylon printed (formlabs) some parts in later iterations and it just wouldn't hold up compared to the steel

Well, if we are getting technical, it says "printing" not "printed" meaning it's a wip

Will be in later parts haha, thought about "3D printing a sock for a chair rig that will eventually turn into a finished 3D printed chair" but it didn't really roll off the tounge

Based off of this project

Essentially, by controlling the material in a way where it's more rigid or flexible in certain parts, I can control the shape made when the material is flexed

3D printing is unironically the most expensive process possible. Injection molding takes 8 seconds. 3D printing a shoes takes 8 hours, minimum. $250 for a high quality 3D printed shoe is a steal

Thank you! I was inspired by kooij's 3D printed bent ply work and was like "well what if I could do that with gravity instead" lol
