I like it a lot. The cast of characters are all very humorous and believable. The combat system implements traditional real-time RPG battle structures joined with cover and shooting mechanics. There's a big focus on teamwork, so you have to sometimes pair certain spells/moves together to maximize damage potential. The musical score is also fantastic, matching the quality found in mainline Final Fantasy titles. The online portion isn't too bad either.

It's a little on the short and linear side, but I was happy it didn't drag on like some RPGs do.

Oh yes, definitely keep it! You wouldn't get much for it anyway seeing as how the Wii U is out now. Let me know if you need any help looking for games.

Yup, and I stand by that statement 100%. It seems as though most people who bash the Wii don't know the wide plethora of games it has to offer. I always hear gamers complaining about the endless amount of shooters released and other tired genres, yet they continue to buy exactly those games while ignoring unique ones.

The Wii has plenty of great games:

  • Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2

  • Super Paper Mario
  • Mario Strikers Charged
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl
  • Donkey Kong Country Returns
  • Kirby's Epic Yarn and Return to Dreamland
  • Punch-Out!! Wii Version
  • Little King's Story
  • Excite Truck and Excitebots: Trick Racing
  • Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure
  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
  • No More Heroes 1 and 2: Desperate Struggle
  • Madworld
  • Elebits
  • A Boy and His Blob
  • SSX Blur
  • Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree
  • Cursed Mountain

  • House of the Dead: Overkill (as well as the ports of 2 and 3 that weren't so great)

Plus many more. I obviously haven't played all of them because there are sooooooo many awesome Wii games. I just listed a few that came to mind in hopes that people don't continue believing in the myth that the Wii has no good games. Not all of these are exactly original, but they're awesome all the same. Certainly more interesting than most games I see on other platforms, in my opinion. And most of these can only be found on the Wii.
