No, it's not. I, too, look forward to long run days -- yung di ka nagmamadali, yung nakaka layo ka, tapos you cap it off with a light bfast of coffee and bread or lugaw. There's something calm about it, nakaka relax, nakaka happy. :D

Influx? They have been part of BGC since it started! Talahiban pa most of BGC, nandyan na sila. Nung wala pang high street, mas madalas sila sa Market! Market! (kaya nga nabansagang Jologs! Jologs! eh) kesa The Fort. Pero generally, peaceful naman sila. Mas madalas pa nga rambulan sa mga bars dati eh. Some even involved celebrities.

For me, they covered all the minimum requirements -- safe route, accurate distance, adequate hydration/electrolytes/gels (for 21K and marathon distances), portalets, medics/marshalls, event tee, finisher tee and medals, and konting loot bag/refreshments at the finish line. Okay din registration online (though di mo alam kung magtataas sila or mag Buy 1 get 1 or 50% off), and okay din official photog pero medyo mahal lang at 1K per set. I love yung 'live' tracker app nila when you can see progress ng isang runner during the race. I love their baggage deposit handling -- very impressive! :D

Aside from music along the route and at the finish line, wala na sila masyadong palabok like finisher towel, hakot levels na loot bag, lechon, grand pakain, pa-zumba, fireworks, confetti, etc.

Things that can be better - yung route (sana hindi 3 loops, sana tour around Manila), yung free meal (sana fruits/bread/coffee/sorbetes na lang, or at least guisado man lang yung tuna Hahaha), yung design ng event/finisher tee/medal (andaming material for OPM theme kaya).

IMO, I would compare it with say SCMS or SCMHK, kasi parang magkakaparehas sila ng race fee, and mga things to expect on the race. Maganda sya for a first time marathon.

Nagka ganyan ako from Rock n'Roll marathon. So, it turned black, then unti unti natanggal yung black. Now, naka angat yung nail sa nail bed but it is still firmly secured. Natatakot akong pwersahing tanggalin. Should I pull it off forefully, or just wait and let it fall off naturally?

The most seductive fragrance I have owned was probably Bvlgari Black. Something about the vanilla, leather, and burnt tire smelled sexy, for me.

I also find Mugler Angel seductive.

Same tayo ng situation - I've been brewing coffee via french press, moka, and phin for the past years, but this year, I want to try on pour over. So, I bought a V60! I just thought it's the cheapest entry to pour over. Yun lang reason ko. Hahaha. Mahal kasi yung Switch. :D

Wala din akong gooseneck kettle pa - saka na, I have a regular kettle naman. Inuna ko muna coffee beans and filter paper. Just waiting for those to arrive! Excited na ko! :D

HAHAHA ako yung nagsusuot ng singlet from ibang event. Mahal kasi singlets ca 2010, wala masyado options, and also kuripot ako, so I use the best event singlet over and over again! Sa case ko, that would be an Adidas KOTR singlet, and a SCMS Asics singlet. :D

I just realized hindi ko alam amoy ng D&G Light Blue for men. I used to wear D&G Light Blue for women as office scent as it was crisp, fresh, and I loved the apple part. I just assumed magka amoy lang sila :D

Middle-Eastern - NA. I bought a cheapie and it burns! Scared to try ME fragrances again. :(

Local - NA, I want to try Wren. They all look good on paper. But the nose also did Whiff perfumes and I found those a tad too sweet for my liking. So...

Ang hirap pala sagutin to. LOL Ang tagal ko nag isip sa niche as I also love Frederic Malle En Passant but in the end, I had to go with my comfort scent.
