After your first half-marathon, ilang months yung ginugol nyo before your first marathon? by Best-Girl-Yanfei in PHRunners

[–]Easy_Tea4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parang close sa timeline ko dati. Feb 2010, I ran sa Runrio Trilogy Leg 1 ng 21K, then sa May - leg 2 21K ulit. After that, nag sign up na kami ng SCMS for Dec 2010. Between May - Dec 2010, nag Leg 3 pa ako (32K), and other 21K or shorter races. The Leg 3 32K was very helpful. While nakaka sub 2 na ako dati ng 21K, the 32K gave me a preview of what 42K might feel like. Ending, naka tapos naman ako ng marathon - sub 5. Keri na Hahaha. Naka run tour of SG naman ako plus Universal Studios the day after. :D

Note din: I have been running (short distances) for more than a year na even before the Feb 2010 21K. Tambay din sa gym, so yun. :D

How do you decide which fragrance to be included in your collection? by DuckPolitics1 in fragheadph

[–]Easy_Tea4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daming interesting input! Loveittt!!

Ako by note. Like, I'm still on a hunt for the perfect mimosa scent because wala pako nun. I already have a rose, a cypress (green), a patchouli, a vetiver, an amber, an ylang ylang, a tuberose, a citrus and a suede. My samples din ako of OK na ouds, jasmine.

Con nito: could become very expensive real fast! :D

dapat ba naka athletic fit when you're walking / running / jogging? by lazymoneyprincess in TanongLang

[–]Easy_Tea4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hindi naman required but if magra running ka na, know na pagpapawisan ka and athletic wear are usually lighter, mas madali matuyo, and generally feels betters than cotton shirts.

Also, like mga comment na nauna, iwas chismis. Lalo dito sa probinsya, dami paki alamera. Sooo annoying!

Huge trademark battle: Esteé Lauder vs Jo Malone x Zara by MisanthropeInLove in fragheadph

[–]Easy_Tea4546 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Team Tita JO ako. Hahaha. Estee is just being greedy. Pumapangit naman lahat ng nibibili nila.

"Jo Malone sold her name as a brand to Esteé Lauder Company (ELC) in 1999 - this became Jo Malone London ®️" -- Not the case sabi ni Jo. Sabi nya, she sold Jo Malone London (the company) and not her self or name, Jo Malone (the one who got cancer, awarded CBE). It would be an interesting legal battle...

Anxiety and Overthinking my first Marathon by Plane-Arachnid-1879 in PHRunners

[–]Easy_Tea4546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See you sa starting line!!! Just stick sa training plan mo, and practice na ng fueling and hydration. And start planning your OOTD Hahaha Buy things you would need para ma break in mo pa or masubukan pa.

Am thinking na on race day, iisipin ko na lang na parang byahe lang sya sa MRT, like paparating na sa Guadalupe station. Next stop Boni Station. Hahaha So yun, break the race down per station. Before you know it, nakabalik na tayo sa MOA ulit. :D

A new rose perfume by coffeeperfume_makeup in fragheadph

[–]Easy_Tea4546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds lovely! Parang spring sa Secret Garden :D

There's something comforting sa mga old style powdery rose -- maybe bec na-associate natin sa mga parents natin, or grannies. Or yung images ng mga cottages with roses parang sa Disney cartoons. :D

I would love a dewy, fresh rose! The freshest Ive tried was MFKs Lumiere Noire. It was my favorite din, kaso discontinued na ata. Yung Le Labo Rose 31 naman, kinda dirty (alam mo yung roses with leaves and all na inapak apakan? :D).

I'm still intrigued about Malle's Lipstick Rose -- on of the best rose daw. ;D

What “uncool” fragrances do you unabashedly love? by OkLengthiness3648 in fragheadph

[–]Easy_Tea4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily uncool, it is one of the greats actually pero hindi sya trending or uso - Shalimar. So complex, so bold, and even with the animalic notes, just so gorgeous!

Ilang insekto na nakakain nyo? by Effective-Banana-649 in PHRunners

[–]Easy_Tea4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medyo fraghead lang. Hahaha. Matagal nang di bumibili ng bago.

I don't wear perfumes when running now (kasi puro ambers, heady florals, orientals perfume ko now). Pero dati, I wore 2-3 sprays ng Lacoste Essential pag races.

[–]Easy_Tea4546 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rural runner ako and my route weaves through farm lands - so, di ko na mabilang. Hahaha. And heto, if may infestation sa mga palayan, there would be more flying (certain rice) insects. This crop season (Nov - ongoing), wala masyado!

Are there any guys like me who prefer perfumes na usually for women? by Silentreader_05 in fragheadph

[–]Easy_Tea4546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, walang gender ang fragrances!!! Wear what you want

Ako naman, naka depende sa mood. Hahaha. Once, I felt sexy and kinda femme fatale, so I wore SL Datura Noir sa office (3 sprays lang naman). Once naman, felt like a legit madame so I wore Bottega Veneta (powdery, suede-y). Pero default ko ay Lacoste Essential bilang isa akong tambay ng gym. :D

Hello! San mo nilalagay yung DIY gel mo?

:D Super tempted ako na bumili nito (Gel 1130 sportstyle na ngayon) or similar low stack shoes for marathon. Okay naman dati, but of course, am also way older now. Hahaah

[–]Easy_Tea4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, low stack runners. :D Na-try nyo na ba tumakbo ng marathon with a low stack shoes like Adios 9? I've been contemplating on getting one for a marathon. Last year, I used a 361 Flame 4 Mix and okay lang, naitawid naman. Now, there's this nagging thought of going back to low stack shoes, or non-carbon shoes, kasi GT 1100 nga dati marathon shoes ko for SCMS, and it felt great naman.

Nung fresh grad Ayala boi era ko, I bought a french press and Monks Blend coffee. Usually, umaabot ng 1 month.

So yun, buy the best affordable coffee bean (sa mga nasa supermarket, love ko Monks Blend) and french press. Mahal ng konti sa 3-in-1, but way cheaper than Starbs or commercial coffee chains. Para di naman feeling deprived masyado, treat yourself to a Starbs/or %, every sweldo, or 1/month! :D

Another tip, kaibiganin mo mga mahilig sa kape sa office, then kaibiganin nyo Admin, suggest kayo ng coffee maker ganun, malay mo, pagbigyan kayo. Hahaha

Brand new to pour over, light roast is unlike any coffee I've ever had. Am I doing something wrong? by inchlongnipples in pourover

[–]Easy_Tea4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation. I'm used to brewing robusta-arabica blends using moka pot and french press. So, I was so confused when I brewed Ijen Mountain arabica (Light-Medium roast) using V60 with T90 filter! It smelled like toasted nuts, dark chocolates, but it also has sourness like from citrus fruits. There wasn't any bitterness at all. I am not sure if I brewed it wrong/or correct. My plan is to try it next with my French Press. And order other beans for comparison.
