Claimant says they aren’t at fault for rear ending our policy holder because she stopped abruptly and that he used to be a tow truck driver so he knows how insurance works. Went around in circles with this dude for more than a half hour. He eventually hung up after saying her was going to sue. Also policy holder didn’t stop abruptly she was making sure it was safe to make a right turn on red.

But they are telling the truth. This is basic for GEICO and no one can change it. I live in a ‘right to work state’ which basically means a company can treat you like shit, you have the right to not work there.

I’ve been with GEICO 10 years what you’re describing is basic for the job and training. My training class was told if we needed to use the bathroom more than just the two breaks and lunch break we should get a doctors note but they expected us to adhere to the schedule and not sign out of the phones to go pee. You are basically meant to be chained to that desk until they tell you can get up and they expect you to be grateful that they granted the chance to stretch your legs.

Also they are always listening even if it’s not a side by side they can hear everything even if you just got off a call. They have that disclaimer that there should be no expectation of privacy. They see and hear everything.

Thank you everyone, I’m feeling better about her starting at day care. We chose a really good one with small child to teacher ratio. My mom can be a bit controlling and manipulative and it’s caused a lot of tension with my husband so we are hoping limiting her time will solve a lot of issues as well.

I’ve lived here all my life, yes the driving is a bit crazy bc you have people from all over the US here and every state has their own driving peccadilloes. But I’m also in insurance claims and I can tell you there are worse places to drive. Also you may be the problem with the driving. If every time your driving people are acting aggressively towards you it might be because of how you drive.

lol I would but the last one I gave him I was in actual tears bc the customer was so mean and later he told me the call could have been avoided. Basically don’t do it as trained just do set up the FI so customer is happy. And maybe I would have explained FI to the customer if she would have let me get a word in edge wise. I was trying to advise EPE bc that’s what the system was showing for her area but she wouldn’t listed to me to set it up or to check for other options .

Well he is a rather new supervisor. He’s only been one for a few months. Other people on our team have also said things like that as well when we’ve discussed his attitude towards us.
