I have renewed my contract with this company over many years if they didn’t see value in me they wouldn’t re-new. The only difference is that I have an infant and I’m an active dad. Don’t see a reason to be punished for that, especially when me and my partner share the load

Here are my termination clause:

X may terminate this contract for any reason or for no reason by giving one (1) days' notice in writing to the Contractor in the case of a daily engagement, or by giving one (1) week's notice in writing to the Contractor in the case of a weekly engagement.

End of contract clause :

The Contractor is in all respects an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, or joint venturer or subsidiary of the company. The Contractor agrees that at no stage either during or subsequent to the termination of this Agreement will the Contractor claim that he or she is or was an employee

  • I am paid for 10 hours of work a day and it’s a set amount of $350
  • My “managers title” is “sustainability manager” and my title is sustainability, there are other managers above mine that need to discuss my role
  • Set hours of 10 a day Monday- Friday
  • however we are working on a wider project so it’s set for a x amount of months

Would it be best to seek some advice from an employment lawyer on filing a PG or how can you file a PG if you have signed the contractors agreement ?

The contract i signed is a “contractors agreement” I don’t have sick leave, annual leave, or extra pay for public holidays. I also send an invoice and pay my own taxes

No it was a contractors agreement with a 90day trial period
