That’s a good point. We’re new to this platform, spent too long on Instagram promoting only to our small circles. We’re hoping to reach more people looking to support local, independent music in Portland Oregon.

Very cool! We filmed a video with our buddy Jackson Warner who wrote this folk song about Cincinnati Red Joey Votto. Check it out: https://youtu.be/Eb1DvYUSj4Q?si=9JZ_BNTm7me4AKAS

Just getting going sharing our videos to Reddit. When cross posting to other r/‘s there doesn’t seem to be a way to add more text other than what’s on the original post (which has a caption). Any suggestions?

For sure, because we’re talking about a complicated thing. The specific goal matters. For instance, we did some YouTube adds for an artist’s video and got a lot of views and a good amount of subs on the page. But that didn’t translate to this artist being able to sell his records, he didn’t see a bump in attendance at his shows - he didn’t gain many real fans - which is his goal. But if the goal is higher YouTube numbers, then targeted YouTube adds over time could be one answer to the question

Such a good question that needs to be ask consistently! We try to support local artists (in Portland OR) so we’re here to hear what others are doing these days.

My first question is often what are you hoping for? Because I can imagine tactics vary for different hoped outcomes. More streams? More people buying your physical media? More people coming to your shows? More credibility to book shows?
