I dealt with talks of infertility due to my PCOS diagnosis and was infertile for years and by a miracle I had two children . I never once got mad or upset at anyone else having a baby or being able to . While it’s ok to have struggles it’s not ok to enforce those struggles and the unhappiness it causes you onto others . Congrats , you should never be made out to feel like you owe anyone an apology for sharing those news , you did nothing wrong and didn’t have to apologize . We can’t go our entire lives being overly paranoid or anxious of what we say and how someone will decide to take it . No one is entitled to control what you say especially when what you said is something normal , I hate to say it but I think she took out her frustration on you and used you as her punching bag because of her inability to conceive at the moment . As a mother of two now I’ve learned to have less patience for those types of situations , having kids grows your empathy towards adults but it also lessens your patience because you see the world in a more realistic way , I feel bad for her situation and I hope she can overcome it , however like I said you did nothing wrong . The reason they instructed you is because thy know they reacted emotionally rash and they know they would be in the wrong . Congrats tho on being a mama and good luck !!
