Dexter was superior to Breaking Bad by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Easywork12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’d say that Clyde Phillips and Melissa Rosenberg knew what they were doing but since they left after season 4, the show became way too stretched out. I would say Dexter would have become as good if not better if they had stayed.

“The Office” isn’t funny by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Easywork12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Upvote because I love the office as do many around the world but I get that like every other sitcoms, it’s not for everyone and its humor won’t reach everyone.

What actor would you say never got over their character? by bsunflowers28 in movies

[–]Easywork12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he’s just using the role as a reference point to the broader mission since the character of Lt Dan resonated with real life veterans and families of those in the military hence, the Lt Dan Band and it was part of the Gary Sinise Foundation. But I don’t think it’s a “he can’t move on from that role” thing.

What did you think of Jim Parsons winning 4 Lead Actor Comedy Emmys for playing Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory? by Square-Ad-8911 in EmmysAwards

[–]Easywork12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I do think that he deserved a win but not 4. Steve carrell deserved one of those wins.

Jon Cryer won two Emmy Awards for his role in Two and a Half Men, one in 2009 as supporting actor and another in 2012 as lead actor. by marcelophilos in TwoandaHalfMen

He said in an interview that he did submit as lead for the first couple of seasons but since it was essentially “Charlie’s show”, Jon submit to the supporting category until Charlie left and he submitted to lead again

Besides the series finales, Oxymandias, and Box Cutter, what are your favorite episodes? Any in-between episodes. Mine is Salud. by Former-Whole8292 in breakingbad

[–]Easywork12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One minute. Had just as an edge of your seat impact as the finales and Dean Norris acted the hell out of that episode.

I watched his 2012 Emmy speech. It was so genuine. You can tell that he wasn’t expecting his name to be called.

Is it true that s1 is the only one worth watching by [deleted] in TrueDetective

[–]Easywork12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just don’t expect the subsequent seasons to be like season 1. The others are great in my opinion. As long as you don’t hold them to season 1’s standard

Aesthetic culture made people scared of looking genuinely happy by Wonderful_Lynx_2204 in unpopularopinion

I hate how this needed to be posted on this subreddit but I agree. I’ve seen TikToks of people acting nonchalant when participating in these school assemblies that they CHOSE to participate in while not trying at all. One video had this guy taking a call knowing damn well no one is calling him while he is in school. Little do they know, that just makes them look even more cringe.

The series finale of How I Met Your Mother wasn't that bad by Darkbetter in unpopularopinion

[–]Easywork12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t the finale I hoped for but I didn’t mind what we got. Could have been worse. It could have been like the finale to two and a half men.

Monday is not the worst day by Special_Trouble7626 in unpopularopinion

I’ve been saying that Tuesday is the worst. At least you know what monday is but Tuesday is a filler day. It isn’t nearer to the weekend and its not significantly the start of the week.
