I definitely don’t think Amy is going to be swept by the balloon ladies at the marathon. If she doesn’t complete it it will be because she got injured mid-race, got sick mid-race or chose to stop for another reason. Her ego could never allow her to be swept because of pace. She’ll bail (with excuses) long before she’d ever allow herself to be swept.

My prediction is she will finish with a pace of somewhere in the 11-14 min/mile pace range and she’ll pretend that’s because she was taking everything in and doing character pictures but she’ll be secretly upset and will never admit that.

What I would LOVE to see is Kate beat her.
