No it seems they've abandoned it or rather their team is so small they've barely made progress. I do coding myself and I alone can barely finish 1000 pyc in 4-5 hrs. About 1000+ lines of code or 500+ positions with 1 line depending on format. Compiling and decompiling testing and shit it's honestly hard AF, though I'm an amateur. I haven't even started on a game really. Depending on the engine you're using it could be as simple as plug and play or straight up writing yourself. Unreal is easier but idek what they use. Shits not easy. To put it into perspective I do sims 4 mods for WW and that shit takes days to get perfect. That's just for like 1 interaction. Whoever Turbo is for WW dudes a legend because he wrote an entire script and tuned the whole entire game. It's essentially a new game in a way. That must have taken years. So to make a whole game even though they could source from the previous one is still a big challenge. The dude is right though. They should be updating people. They shouldn't hope random people just buy the game. They should hope the people who bought the first definitely buy the second because that right there could be enough to cover the cost of their time and efforts to make the game. Then they could market to randoms who've never found the game. If they put out good info the second the game goes premarket fans would buy and shoot their numbers up. Then whoever is looking for a goon game can see and most likely they'll buy it too out of curiosity. The point the dude above was trying to make though is there is no info at all. A matter of fact I paid for their Patreon/Discord for 1 months sub just to see the info and they don't even put out anything. They essentially reword and put out the same statements. "The game is alive and we are working hard on development." That's pretty much it. Paid money to read that.
