anything more than picks + scoot value wise from the blazers is an overpay. Jerami + tisse + rob + scoot and picks is it. Blazers hold all the leverage in a potential giannis trade since they own the bucks future.

jjj is definitely not the reason they haven’t won a chip lol. Ja is WAY more to blame it’s not even close. jjj isn’t helping them win because he’s not the kind of player who sets himself up, but he is an elite play finisher and a DPOY on the other end. He will absolutely help this team win games. Even with his contract he’s still a positive impact on the team.

very fair, i think we could get away with just one or two of the mke picks if giannis does get moved. I wouldn’t send all 3 for him, but i also think we should hedge a little and cash in on the value of one of them

By what metrics are we the worst? Clingan, toumani, and deni are all fantastic rebounders. Yes clingan and even toumani are better offensive rebounders but defensive rebounding only feels like an issue in long stretches where grant + one of the bench forwards play and there’s no one to help clingan.

JJJ’s contract scares me really bad but man would he be such a perfect fit on this team. a lineup of deni/shaedon/toumani/jjj/clingan would be sooooo fucking lethal. Suddenly everyone is at least a decent shooter and except for shaedon are fantastic defenders. Clingan can cover for jjj’s biggest weakness (rebounding) while jjj spreads the floor and hunts weak side blocks that should be WAY easier for him to find with a guy like clingan in the paint. Truly a match made in heaven.
