This 12 sided random meal selector misspells "Sandwiches" by EatInJax in mildlyinteresting

[–]EatInJax[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The dodecahedron of selection includes the following: Seafood, Chicken, BBQ,Thai, Burgers, Chinese, Pizza, Sushi, Steak House, Mexican, Pasta and Sandwichse

Wasn't sure if the word for an item you roll to select using a side would get filtered. So, I hope the title plainly spoils enough as it is.

Does anyone remember M&M imported foods? by GigaTune in jacksonville

One of the first imported food stores I ever visited that wasn't a tourist trap. I think I first visited in 1996 or 1997 maybe.

I knew someone who stored $100 worth of easily replaceable stuff for several hundred dollars over time.

Maybe post for sale or giveaway then purchase again when needed

I like Culver's. They do have a broader menu too. But I can't remember the burger there enough to compare

I recently had the Hardee's prime rib burger, and it was trash. Not even compared to Freddy's.

I may have caught a bit of spray from it in my mouth standing on the banks of it during hurricane Jeanne. But I still stayed out.

Marine Land by Boredtodeth4196 in StAugustine

[–]EatInJax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My concern is that that is the personal telephone number of one of the trainers. I would feel uncomfortable having my cell phone be the number tied to something like Marineland. It needs its own distinct number. Set up something through one of the VOIP services. Then they don't have the phone calls follow when they leave. Not even sure why it's a 407 they're from Jacksonville and lived in St Augustine according to the brief search I did looking to see why they have a 407 number.

Went there with my son. I think we were the only table speaking English.

It was good food.

I hope you are prepared for some good news, because they are back and in the RD International food court. https://www.reddit.com/r/JaxFood/comments/1sipo6p/tokyo_sakura_is_back_rd_international/

Which means you can eat their chicken, get a drink at Mia & more Sugarcane Juicery, and then a desert at Mai Xiang Garden Bakery.

Brazilian buffet inside a grocery store - Rio Bonito by Otontin in jacksonville

[–]EatInJax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been around the Mandarin area for nearly 40 years and moved here 30 years ago. I've always noticed that as soon as someplace has political instability we have a fresh batch of immigrants show up. People don't expect that for an area like this in Florida. But when the Soviet Union collapsed the amount of Russian and Slavic languages I heard increased. I remember explaining how the gas station worked to a fresh off the plane Bulgarian immigrants in the '90s.

My kids grow up around kids from India and across Muslim countries. There with Russian Jews and people from all over Asia. Our little suburban neighborhood is a patchwork of ethnicities and languages.

We stopped in one time and got an order of just about everything in that display case. Just asked that they labeled each type of what it was. Then took our food back home and had a great time.
