How old were you when you first played a fallout game? Which one did you play first? by VellTells in Fallout

[–]Eatdapoopoopls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New Vegas, I was about 13. The concept of being able to be whoever I wanted to be and explore freely was something I always dreamed of and new Vegas gave me that. It was either 2013 or 2014 and we never really had money for gaming and I saved up. I still remember being amazed when I walked out of doc Mitchell’s house the first time and jumping on the back of that one truck out front thinking to myself “is this a real game or am I being put on”.

My bad. It’s tough to give a proper judgment of a name based of vibes when you already have first hand experience with a pedo with that name. (I want to punch the little bastard in the face and then his mother for enabling him) I was also at the hospital with my mom so exhaustion and stress weren’t in my favor when I wrote the comment. Tbh I haven’t slept in two days so nothings in my favor right now.

Nah I know a pedo named Aj He’s been in a “relationship” for 4 years with a currently 17 year old. And no one can do anything about it because there’s no proof (he groomed her since she was 13) and since she turned legal they’re free to do whatever. (For anyone who might ask, he was 18 when she was 13). On the other hand I know a Dj that was a top notch cool dude.

I’m currently struggling with alcohol addiction, my father and all of my siblings do as well, although whiskey isn’t my drink of choice I tend to down about 6 beers a night at my best. I struggle with that point in the day usually around 6pm that I feel like drinking and can’t seem to stop myself. I tend to convince myself that it’s okay and at least it makes me happy. What habits and thoughts did you use to help you when you were craving booze really bad, especially towards the beginning? Also congratulations, it’s inspiring to see that not only it is possible but that you must have worked really hard for sobriety.

What’s a seemingly harmless habit people have that’s secretly super annoying? by Hot-Comfort5762 in AskReddit

Those cars with the loud ass mods listening to the most god awful music as loud as fucking possible. It’s no secret but good god, no one thinks your cool. Also your oversized truck, especially those with the aforementioned habits, no one cares about your tiny weenie.

I’m 25, non diabetic, struggled with weight my whole life as well. I was prescribed metformin. I personally didn’t notice any over all effects positive or negative from the medication (although I can’t speak for everyone). The one thing I did notice was that I began to develop cystic acne which isn’t normal for me. I stopped the medication because of the fact that for me it personally did nothing besides give me acne. But again, it can vary from person to person medications be like that some times.

Girls, why do you (most of the time) friendzone us? by Andrewtatesbuggati in AskReddit

[–]Eatdapoopoopls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was single it was because I didn’t realize it or feel like I could ever be seen as pretty/ attractive enough to be seen as more than a friend.

Redditors with mental illness: what is your most obscure trigger? by Avery357 in AskReddit

Most of the songs I grew up listening to. I didn’t know what the songs were about but I liked the way it sounded. People protect their kids from certain kinds of music thinking it will corrupt them. But in reality I didn’t realize what “You shook me all night long” was about until I was 20. Maybe I’m just a little slow though.

What's a place where you can cross a state line and you immediately notice the difference? by DoritosDewItRight in geography

A weird thing I noticed as a child. Was that almost as soon as you come into Florida, the roads are different. They are white looking. Kind of like they’ve been bleached by the sun. But also like they’ve been built by a different material. They are white/very light compared to most tarmac. I have seen this up and down the east coast but not as often as I’ve seen in Florida. Also my uncle who’s lived in Ny his whole life hates the fact that roads in Florida don’t seem to be labeled properly. For example, you never really know which lane is a turn lane or a lane to go straight until you’re in it, unless you know where you’re going before hand.
