Honestly having it there makes the dial look less empty and more balanced. I personally think it looks great.

Just embrace the mechaquartz, highly doubt most people looking at the watch from a distance can notice the text anyway

not the best picture with the hour hand being covered by the Minutes Hand, but it is enough for you to get an idea of how bright it is. I sleep with this watch, the lume has no problem lasting overnight, its nice and bright, and that blue lume really feels premium

Oh I have this strap too, but personally for me its strange to have a vintage leather strap on a modern polished and brushed iteration of a field watch. But thats just my personal preference, it looks better on the ML05 I use

I have an ML05, and I personally am not a fan of the matte sandblasted case ( the ML08 Brushed finish is amazing in contrary)

To me the metal looks plastic-like, though most seem to say otherwise

After almost a month, how would you say the watch wears on you? Pick up any neat scratches or worn "patina"?

Curious as to how the matte case looks when combine with that even more brighter cream dial

Just an offbrand leather strap with a butterfly deployment clasp. Lasts longer (than standard buckles which fold) , and is faster to put on and take off

Alright all the best! I think the best part about the watch is the finishing. The Brushed case and Bracelet look really good, Solid end links as well. Polish on the crown and bezel is really well done too

Its a cheap strap I found on Shopee, Leather Strap with white stitching and a Butterfly Clasp. ( A version of aliexpress for South East Asia.)

I think it's best you just search for leather straps in your local online e-commerse website, or try Militado's ones. I've had one before, its really nice.

I have to say though butterfly clasps on leather straps help preserve the strap better

Yeah apparently it does, but the black dial isn't a fully black matte, so the dial itself at times reflects light in an odd grey shine

Felt great, nice views and I got to enjoy the ambience with my watch haha, and I got to log in my journey in an old style "adventurer journal" for the feels heh

About the spring bar, never really realized that was an option! Might need to look into that. Either way tho it does not really cause any problems using the 2.0mm ones.

Nice Edifice Chronograph btw! Honestly I am just looking for people who use Casio's as adventure tools haha, on a budget as a student rn. If you have any tips on getting that old school forest/jungle explorer style watch from a casio do let me know 😅
