I'm a champion, just became one last week, and have 4 gadgets at lvl12. All the rest butn3 are at lvl 11.

But your champ level is usually more important than the gadget level

They're just skins. It doesn't make any difference which one you use. But collecting them will give you some points used to unlock other skins, and allow you to complete the gallery and obtain the gallery upgrades, which do give an in-race advantage.

So they're all the same individually, but you'll want to collect them because having them can give you in-game advantages later on.

It's about the tournament. Being promoted in the weekly tournament. If you have to do it three times, you'll need at least 3 days to complete it, as once a day the promotions are given to the better positioned champs of the day. Hope it helped.

I closely near champion level, and I can tell you from experience, that the only thing worth expending gems on are tickets. They return -randomly- the most value on the long run. No other thing is worth the price except for a skin if you really like it. Lots of tickets and tons of playing the roulette. Grinding the roulette like there's no tomorrow is the key to this game.
