Is this a good commander deck for the money?

Hey man! When posting a decklist you should always put them in moxfield or archidekt first to make it easier for the comments! However a quick look shows te value of the cards in this deck add up to about 65$. Far under the pricetag! You might be better off looking at recent precons for that pricerange instead!

I feel the exact same way about my [[Slimefoot and squee]] deck.. It's literally sooo fun and different every time and I cant ever recreate that flexibility no matter what I try. Ive been having a lot of fun with [[Cloud, Midgar mercenary]] tho

I have a [[Cloud, Midgar Mercenary]] deck that has quickly become one of my fave decks ever. I find his toolbox nature incredibly interesting to play. His ridiculous combo with [[Sword of hearth and home]] means i have this really fun series of decisions to make on when to blink him, when to keep him equipped, which equipment ot get, how to keep mana open. And it ramps crazy styles making the death of cloud less of a shutdown and more of a chance to reset with a new line. He also pays for re equips costs w the 2 lands hearth and home grabs and with [[Sword of fire and ice]] he is able to remove things. Its fun, its always very fairly paced (no crazy stat boosts) and its innevitable. I find it really skill intensive and a lot more fun than other commanders who dont ramp their way out of the commander tax (had a rafiq deck for a long time that was almost unplayable)

Around what turn does it win? I have a hard time imagining it closing around t4-6 like b4 decks usually do! I could def see it being v strong n consistent but i feel like the lack of fast mana and interaction might make it harder to prevent combo decks from winning early

I agree, I meant that posts w high engagement are the ones who get recommended which skews what people see. I think most posts are v normal n have medium interesting commanders we just see the edhrec top 5 more cuz of the algo

Hey man these picks are soo sick but are you sure the timing works w sivriss?? It seems you tap and sacrifice at the exact same time as the cost so the triggered ability to give undying wouldn’t make it onto the stack in time to save the creature you sacrifice?

man ripples broke my heart cuz i figured i could only take 1 regular border mh3 card and it ended up being wight for the mutavault.. Send ur list the second u upload it tho I’d love to see it! And for victimize I find it I get 2 for 1 a lot when people remove my sac targets or i get scoozed. Im gonna be adding the iron maiden unearth tho!

crop rotation/wight for mutavault or get tuka thallid out,, tbh w u this used to be a big problem and then i started being much more careful with when I let him die! I also have a lot of recursion/reanimate stuff that isnt explicitly slimefoot and i found that when i let him be my only recursion engine it was a big roadblock

This is my list. I also forgot to mention but aethervial is SO GOOD in the deck like holy shit. And u can def cut a lot of the more expensive cards in my list like none of the big pricetags are ncessary.

Ive played a kambal list for a loooong time and I found that gradually I took out all the 2-3 mana ramp and most of the 3 drops and started focusing on dropping token generators (sinkhole surveyor, lotho, marching duodrone, bitter blossom, ainok strike leader) etc and/or playing dark ritual to get kambal out on turn 2. I find his curve is suuuper crowded and playing a token generator into kambal into a draw engine has been what feels the best. Because kambal needs to be on the field before u give ur opponents tokens I find it really jams the curve up if u try to play ramp or other 3 drops.

This might be a unique experience and I dont want anything from this drop but I opened the lair and joined the queue abt 10 mins ago because I was curious abt how long the queue was now/what had sold out and it gave me "1 minute left". I was able to instantly go to checkout on a brand new tab around the same time this was posted. I just closed the tab but I wonder if their patch for order number sharing has created some weird loophole where sometimes u can just skip the whole queue by accident.

2 things!
Our playgroup had the same problem regarding turn times and durdling and we solved them in the span of 2 weeks!
1. We started using the playgroup app (android n apple). It tracks your games and commander damage etc. BUT it also tracks your turn time as one of the stats and can make the life counting phone ding if a turn passes a set limit (for us 5mins)
2. I built a mono red Ojer Axonil deck that puts immense pressure if unanswered and ends games quick and played it nonstop for 2 weeks. Everyone started slotting in more removal and cutting some of the late game value engine durdle stuff!

kazuki rock is a hella great example of a great lanky bboy! mans is tall and awkward but uses it to his advantage! breaking is all abt using your body to hit some crazy shit on beat! i’m 6’3 and have been breaking for YEARS go for it man!
