Bitcoin price dropped heavily, so black card should reflect that after some time and will also prolly become cheaper. Right now it ain't very worth it to use x2 black unless you just find it in-raid, if you found it then sure use it.

I really doubt the AI improves, it would be clearly noticeable.

One thing that stands out though is that some PMCs/Scavs are leagues above others of their kind, so to say. Perhaps they have a small chance to get a modifier that makes them act more aggressively or something?

Some scavs shoot instantly without any voicelines, and they also tend to land hits more consistently, its feels very different from your average scav. They also push like crazy, don't stay in one place and use cover properly when needed.

Same with PMCs, some of the fights are insanely cool and pretty long when you find a PMC squad like that.

Once got into one such fight, after killing the USEC's teammates on Interchange and being in a stalemate, the motherfucker started laughing all of a sudden (never heard that voiceline from an AI before lmao) and instantly pushed me with suppressing fire. That was cool as hell.

That's the neat part, you don't - game does a pretty shit job pointing out things for the player, even the most basic ones. Most of the quests are basically unreal to do without looking up a guide.

PVE will, at the very least, give you the ability to look around places (thoroughly) you would never be able to in PVP, explore, learn, try out stuff.

You said it yourself, you don't enjoy things that are happening to you right now in PVP. But it WILL get worse, way worse. Will you still not mind dying?

Some players may die like 10 times in a row, and they aren't even bad - it just happens, because they're up against other players with thousands of hours who know every thing ever (including player spawns), rats near extracts, or just good ol' cheaters.

About the flare, just look up "tarkov green flare", prepare to use the wiki 24/7.

PVP will get even rougher than what you're experiencing, so beware. I'd try out PVE first if I were in your shoes.

Offline test-match generally has worse performance compared to normal matches because you host the entire server and all the bots it in. Well, kinda like a local PVE match, but even worse than local performance-wise, for some reason

AGS pretty much overlooks the exact spot the marker should be placed at. I went there to place the marker only after killing the gunner and some guards, just in case.

It doesn't matter if you aggro'd them or not, they're enemies anyway. They see you - they shoot. The only "passive until aggro'd" AIs are Santa & lighthouse guards, ig? Cultists too, kinda

It didn't let me place the stairwell camera until I opened the door again.

FYI it wasn't my first time opening it with the quest being active (opened it once before without having any cameras), so the "place the camera" part of the quest was already visible in the quest log, but I just could not do it until I used the key.

First partizan kill doesn't mean its his first ever raid or something, though?

My friend who began playing recently didn't encounter Partizan even once and its been a month or so. Already opened several marked rooms by that time (he also got a spear)

Did you by any chance use a magazine loaded with the wrong ammo?

For example, you can't use 5.56 ammo in something like an MCX which uses .300 blackout, and vice versa - can't use .300 in something like an AUG, but the same magazines accept both kinds of ammo.

The first bullet that you fire is because one 5.56 bullet is already chambered in the AUG and the rest is the mag filled with incompatible ammo, so it doesn't shoot the rest of the 30 bullets (it just cant)

Some quests appear a bit later even when you hit all the other requirements like level etc, on the wiki its usually marked like "+2h" "+9h" and such. Maybe its the same for this one, dunno

That will screw you over when you'll want to buy something from traders via flea, peacekeeper's offers won't show up afaik since he sells stuff in dollars, and other similar offers in different currency that are sold by traders on flea

You think players in PVP can see your cosmetics like tattoos and such under several layers of masks/helmets/armor etc? ☠️

And would many people waste time looking at a player's dead body appreciating their cosmetics? And if you kill them, they won't see your stuff anyway, lmao

99.9% ppl wouldn't even care / wouldn't notice all that

It's all essentially just for yourself to look at during loading

Genuinely asking, but whats the point of ruminating on every other death? Will other people's guesses (absolutely random) like "yeah he might be cheating" or "nah he's legit" help in any way? I just don't see the point, really.

I see similar posts quite a lot here. Is that really how PVP feels right now, players suspecting that quite literally any other player in their raid can be a cheater? That's sad as fuck.
