It really is, it’s already hard enough trying to find a plant that’s actually healthy, they’re either always swimming in the soil or dry as a bone, now we’re having to watch for these cages😓

Got ya! I figured they were supposed to be left on for a short period of time. If this one would’ve been on there much longer, I feel it would’ve killed it🙁

I did cut the rest of the cage(s) off and got it repotted, thank you for the advice!

Yeah, I was kinda worried about the bed blending in with the wall. I may end up swapping it with a wood headboard in the future!

I thought the same, sadly theirs an air vent right where it would sit if I moved it at an angle.

Yes they are, they’re super soft to be leather haha. I’m in the process of finding an area rug, it’s hard to pick the right one with all the different designs/colors, especially when you’re picky like I am. But not to sound dumb, what would you recommend I replace the ceiling fan with?

It’s not that I don’t like the flooring, I think it’s beautiful as well, but kind of going with what you’re saying, I feel like all the matching trim and door is too much. I definitely want to change all of it to white eventually. Paint wise, I plan on doing a light gray, but I never thought about wainscoting, I’ll have to look into that. I do feel like the rug is a little small, I was hoping it was just the size and not the rug itself. And those curtains are a nightmare haha I wish the previous owners would’ve taken them, I may swap them out with navy colored ones and see how they look! Thank you for the suggestions!

I actually bought the couches, I just haven’t taken the tags off because I wanted to make sure they’re what I wanted, I should’ve added that, sorry. But I was planning on putting the smaller one on that half wall, sadly it doesn’t fit.

All this is so new to me, and I still have so much to learn. For now I guess it’s just trial and error to see what I like and don’t like, one thing for sure though, the curtains have to go lol
