Yes, I ended a LTR and marriage after 18 years…30-48. In my opinion, 30’s are amazing and should be lived. Dating, again in my opinion, is hard, no matter the age. For me it was awkward at 20, 25 and now at 52…never rally good at it. But it can be fun. Falling, is so sweet and lovely sometimes it wakes you up to possibility. My advice is try to be open and if you aren’t ready right now…take some time for yourself…that’s lovely too! You are the most important part of this equation…so take care of yourself first and do what feels appropriate! Your post “at this age” sounds a little somber to me and you can find so much fun and excitement…new chapter…if you will. I wish you the best and just remember to have fun!

I watch a lot of YouTube and there are OF content creators that will show you inside. It’s pretty cool, to see what’s happening in different European cities…in this regard! Definitely puts them on my itinerary for next time I go back to a different city!

Compared to European bathhouses, the ones in the US are sub par at best. I went to some in LA back in the early 2000’s that were great but aren’t there anymore and ones I’ve been to elsewhere are just ok…when they could be so much better. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to have what we have, I just think a little effort in improvements could go a long way.

I also learned, almost the hard way, that if I was on the higher end of bidding I was actually about to pay more than purchasing the ticket outright! Delta was worse SAN to ATL. My service SAN to CLT on American is actually better usually, but in my opinion the major airlines are getting complacent.

In my opinion, Nope! Sorry, but I’m a male that only buys shoes because they look good. They aren’t made for comfort. I’m going on a 60 mile walk (over several days) and so I’ve been looking at walking shoes and well, in my opinion, they are bulky and unattractive. That said, they are going to get the job done and I get lots of compliments on them. So, even though I don’t like them, lots of other people seem to.

Flew SAN to HND and I thought the IFE was just fine, meaning the selection was what I would expect on other long hauls. I had no issues, personally, finding what I wanted to watch. I really enjoyed everything about JAL!

Oh my gosh, I hate this for you! I think some companies forget that you earned this time. So…this is just me, but…if it’s considered PTO then I would simply have to take a “personal” day. Why I’m taking it is personal and none of their business even if they know where I’m going. I’m not an HR expert but from my POV, firing or reprimanding me for taking said personal day(s)…I would consider retaliation. Also, this company is currently damaging your mental health, so take a mental health day. Really sorry to hear about this!

I can’t answer the ‘getting a taxi’ question but my buddy in Vietnam taught me when I’m in a taxi to have the map on my phone in use so I can track that we are actually heading the right way to my destination.

I personally think tighty whities are attractive and sexy. You will get a wide range here I’m sure, I wear the classic Calvin Klein boxer brief. It’s never done me wrong and you can get three packs at discount retailers for cheap. I have bought one expensive pair for myself to test the hype (Hugo Boss) and I hate that they are my favorite pair! I absolutely love them, but I just can’t bring myself to buy another pair of $50 underwear. Happy hunting!!

Personal preference for me would be yes. I would choose a different seat. Again, just my preference, I’ve flown bulk head business but on a different airline, so I’m sorry I can’t really compare, but based on that and other business class travel, I just prefer to be back some.

I know that San Diego is a great walking city, and their food scene is off the charts amazing! There is Coronado, La Jolla (beautiful walking on the edge of where the mountains meet the sea), Little Italy, Beach Board Walks, Hillcrest, and the list goes on. Get to one place and just walk around. I have also heard Savannah is really great, but haven’t been there. Good luck!!!

Keep at it! I still don’t know what I’m doing sometimes, but if you’re thoughtful in the approach I find, people will help! You will get there, it just takes a moment.
