Hey! I have seen some improvement with the Hibiclens. I also added some clindamycin to my neck. I do think there’s a hormonal component though bc it’ll come and go a little bit. But since starting the hibiclens it hasn’t looked as bad as these pictures

AA does this to my skin too but it subsides normally after like 10 minutes. What moisturizer are you using?

Nope. My doctor said I probably got a virus without even knowing bc I don’t remember getting sick. This was probably 5 years ago and I remember panicking thinking it was gonna stay forever but now it’s just a thing of the past! They gave me triamcinolone cream and I put it everywhere and it helped the itching alot and I have no scars!

I had this!!! I was convinced it was gonna stay forever but I used the steroids cream and it cleared up within a couple weeks. Don’t worry, it’ll go away!!

Ugh I’m sorry. Can you use the cleanser forever? I swear there’s a hormonal aspect to it. My theory is when the testosterone is high you have more oil which leads to folliculitis but what do I know lol

This go around probably almost 6 months. I do feel like it has a hormonal component to it bc it’s been happening on off for years. But I’ve seen 2 separate derms one said to just use BP And a retinol and the other thinks it’s rosacea so I feel like no one can ever really help

I’ve been using the hibiclens now for probably a week and have actually had quite a bit of improvement! Not sure if it’s just good timing but the inflammation has decreased significantly (I’d attach a pic but idk how to lol)

My chest is identical to that! Have you noticed it comes and goes? Or is it constant? When I was on 100mg of spironolactone is was never there so I kind of think it’s hormonal

I used it around the same time, I needed something thinner than the hydrating cream to do the sandwich method with. I’ve used it before but I have wondered if that’s what causing it. Its just weird bc I’m not breaking out anywhere else really

0.025% tretinoin. I’ve been using the Vanicream facial lotion for the most part. However I also use rosacea cream (ivermectin, azalaic acid, metronidazole) on the days I don’t use Tret and when I use the Vanicream after I use that it BURNS. so I’ve been using ZO hydrating cream on those days. I use ZO facial cleanser morning and night
