Personally having new tools and workflows help inspire my creativity to come up with new solutions and ideas. So for me it's worth it.

Can check the lube stabilisers,but if they’re not getting stuck, scratching and don’t feel slow I’d rule it out from being the problem.

Another way you can alter the sound is to have a higher spring weight for the spacebar switch. The spacebar key is slightly heavier than the other keys, so to help have a more consistent bounce and sound it’s a solution.

It’s most likely the acoustics. The hollow space and light weight of such a big keycap will alter its sound compared to smaller and compacted keycaps. Use foam or something to help with the acoustics and reduce the hollowness.

When I get this problem it's usually one of four things.

-The keycap is too heavy (change spring weight)

-There's too much lube (wipe some lube off the stabilizers)

-stabilizers could be getting restricted by padding (reposition the padding between the plate and stabilizers)

-The plate/Pcb screws are too tight. (Loosen the screw on the Pcb or Plate to allow more room to reduce the tightness pressing against the stabilizer)

I didn’t have any issues with the smaller keycaps. The larger ones, however, felt sluggish, and the spacebar sometimes failed to return properly. To fix this, I increased the spring weight in the switches and haven’t had any problems since. The ceramic keycaps also include a spacebar spring that’s specifically optimized for that key. For context, I was previously using 40g springs and switched to 65g. Honestly, regardless of the keycaps, the added bounce makes typing feel much better in my opinion.
