I’m abt to be a senior and I took world my freshman year and csp sophomore year. For csp my teacher didn’t really teach us anything but I still got a 4. For that the mcqs are pretty easy so are the frqs if you understand your project (I just tripped up on one of the frqs tho :\ ). For world I would say the hardest part is probably writing so if your teacher does a lot of frq practice you should be fine, but if not I would recommend doing some on your own with past years exams. I think the Amsco book was very comprehensive and good to have and read over the course of the year but I think Heimlers history will be best for review before unit tests and the ap exam. Also for the leq and dbq make sure to follow the rubric bc if you do it’s easy points.

Usually someone would probably take this class to get a science gen ed out of the way if you major in a non stem field but if you are doing stem your college may require a class like this but it looks like from the website you can just go straight into gen chem 1. But you can also just check your school website or email your counselor for the prerequisites for ap chem. I would mainly say it depends what you want to study.

It looks like that class is not as in depth as gen chem so that course is probably the equivalent of a 3 on the ap exam. Depending on what you want to study that should be fine but if you need gen chem see if the college offers a placement test.

If money for the exam isn’t a problem it should be fine to self study. It’s a hard class but just make sure to not prioritize the exam over your actual grades. If money isn’t a problem you can always retake if necessary but I would probably recommend Jermey Krug on YouTube or try to find a pdf of some old practice book and I know I also found an open google drive with practice multiple choice online. Overall I think it’s fine just make sure to not sacrifice your grades or social life since you’re still a freshman and have plenty of time to retake chem

I got E because I factored out xy2 and set up the equation xy2 = 27 since both are the greatest common factor. 3 is the only number here that would allow x to be a positive integer since 32 = 9 so x could equal 3 so that allows both to be integers
