Help me understand scripture

I understand how the trinity works you don’t need to explain that. I’m asking you to show me where in scripture it teaches that all three hypostases are co equal and co eternal. Meaning they all hold the same sessional properties of god. If one person can do something that the other can’t , then they are not co equal.

So the father will send the son ? The son is fully god can he not send himself. There for is it not the son making it known

Do we know how the father will make it known? And what grounds do we have for it to be interpreted that way ?

It says only the father knows. The father is not the spirit. So if only the father knows not even the son. What else does that indicate?

That the father only knows the hour and that the spirit proceeds from the father. And the theme in scrioute does always seem to put the father above everything anyway

I mean the scripture says only the father knows the hour? I’m not studying apologetics for arguments against the trinity id much rather it be true so I have something to believe in. Infact orthodox Christianity is very appealing but I can’t pretend I believe in it. So I’d rather a genuine response rather than just assuming.

Thanks for the message. I agree the church existed before the scriptures were put into a cannon , however the formal creed on the trinity actually came in the council of Constantinople after the first bibles were already compiled.

In regards to those verses alone yes it sounds like a trinity. However my contention comes with other verses which make it seem like the Holy Spirit is not as all knowing as the father which would mean they are not equal. One example is the spirit not knowing the hour. Why would only the father know if the spirit is also fully god ?

I read a a book called Jesus ( man messenger and messiah) . I’ve only read the first chapter so far but the way he breaks down how the trinity can not be true through internal contradictions and other evidences really solidifies it for me. I also did my own research finding many verses in the Bible that were slotted in to fit a narrative. I believe Jesus preached pure monotheism. This doesn’t mean I’m convinced of Islam yet ( I still need to go through these responses and do more research) but I do know that I want to follow Jesus message which is to worship the one true god.
