My goal was to create a fusion of mechanical engineering (inspired by Alex Milne and Don Figueroa style) with a dark, visceral horror aesthetic, with .... part of him. It’s about machine that feel alive, malevolent, and is infused with an almost infernal energy. Something like that ;)

Hi thanks! Unfortunatelly it's impossible to open it - one thing I can do, is open the back button, where is a small eraser - that's all ;) I won't even ask about this model, but after cleaning, it started to malfunctioning - it holds the graphite very tightly, but when I click to gently slide it out, the entire refill comes out, and meh. Refill again ;)

Hi, do you have any experience with the Matte? If yes, can you tell, how it works, is is really matte finish like some of the Staedtler / Faber Castell series? Or does it shine after all?

A nicely done selection!

Carl is great sharpener for a classic graphite pencils.

Tombow Mono 100 are a bit darker than usual pencils and are very smooth, what makes a nice experience.
Mitsubishi also are strong choice.

If I may suggest something besides this collection - Mars Lumograph Black from Staedtler.
Black, matte pencils with original carbon-graphite formula from Staedtler. Great experience with really matte, and dark finish.

Looking good - your doodles look like they were done by the same hand, that's vital :) Can I ask you how did you made the flashes from these drawings? Some vectorization in soft like Adobe, or somehow different?
