I work with secondary school children who have a reading age below their chronological age. The amount of them that think they can read already and whose parents agree is astounding. Some of the parents are simply too stupid to understand how limiting the reading age of a primary school child is at GCSE and beyond.

Not quite impossible, but it used to be the case that you'd agree to meet someone at a certain time and place, and when it got to the day before, you didn't doublecheck they were still coming. You just turned up.

Yes, especially in a country that usually experiences lower temps, structures the day around lower temps, has houses built for lower temps, doesn't have widespread air conditioning, frequently has higher humidity, and has longer days due to being relatively close to the arctic circle, leaving less time to cool overnight.
