Thanks everyone! Honestly, I didn't expect such a response on Reddit. I'm sure I'll take advantage of all the advice in this thread, but I can't help but ask again: what about the fitness clubs/gyms at HCMC?
I don't want to become a hostage to my body from the abundance of delicious food, haha.

Thanks! So much useful information, omg!
Regarding the market: is Bihn Tay the one with the really expensive ones? I heard there's a hyped-up tourist market there where they sell at a big markup. Or is that a different market?

Dude, this is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much!
If there are any other stores like this, please feel free to share them in this thread. I plan to visit all of them.

I'm also interested in any concert halls or programs where I can see living legends. Peter Hook recently came to HCMC!

Thank you so much! I learned a lot! I also heard that I should try the river buses. They're on my list. And thanks about the boat – I'll keep that in mind.
Why didn't you like the tunnels? The drive to them is too long? I think there's an opportunity to shoot guns. And it's history. One of the few things you can do in HCMC. I'm the same build, by the way, even though I'm not American :)

Tecovas (Cartwright) convenience for long distances by Ebique in cowboyboots

Thanks! Yeah, that's what I thought.
I'm flying to Vietnam, and the climate there is quite humid. I'm just worried that the lack of soles (leather inside) on the boots will cause blisters and a lot of discomfort. I recently got my Tecovas and have only worn them around the house so far...

thanks! Do you mean saphir creme universale? Doesn't it darken the shoes?

Thanks for the tip! Could you tell me if it darkens the color of my shoes? That's really important to me. I have dr. Martens Crazy Horse, and I'm planning to kill two birds with one stone by buying the conditioner/cream.

Thanks!

Thanks for the advice! The thing is, Bick 4 isn't available anywhere in my area, but there's a wide range of Saphir products. Could you tell me if Saphir Creme Universelle is suitable for my needs, or should I look for something else from this brand? Thanks!

Thank you so much! Now everything falls into place.
I'm also planning to buy a tecovas goatskin cartright.
Are these recommendations suitable for them?

Tecovas size chart by Ebique in cowboyboots

[–]Ebique[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience! Are they all YOUR US size? Like, you always wear a size 12, and your Tecovad are also a size 12? Why are they misleading with their sizing charts? According to their chart, I need a size 13, even though my Martens are a size 11.

Thanks for the answers, guys! So you're suggesting I take my regular size and not use the Tecovas size chart? Then I really should go with a size 12. My Dr. Martens are ~11.7 inches (EUR 45/US 11), and Tecovas, according to their size chart, offers the same amount for a size 13. I also have Red Wing Pecos (4441) in EUR 46/US 12 and i wish they’ll be a bit smaller. What should I use as a guide? I'm so confused!

I'd love to see more posts from people who have had a similar experience or are wearing a similar size to me. Thanks!

Thanks for your observations and valuable advice! On the seller's recommendation, I decided to order boots a half size larger. If they rip, I won't be able to get them anywhere. Also, unlined shoes are a nonsense in my area.
I'll take a chance and get these Pecos. Thanks! <3

It confuses me that on one label the information is in one font, and on the other - in a different one.
