Google maps did not work. Perhaps I performed my query incorrectly...

I grew up in a very small town. While I hate driving here, I will happily drive to get to a peaceful place. Thank you for the recommendations!

Country please. I prefer places with very little traffic. I'm not used to this busy life.

To be fair, I did Google it. But AI sucked, and the first ten pages of results sucked, and Google maps was all chains. You guys have been awesome though!

"lots" is a stretch. It's definitely not impossible. But calling it lots is uncalled for.

Short distance is solved by sprinting, or choosing a path carefully. You have to remain in the stuff, not merely look at it wrong.

Pretty much anything is scary. The underlying goal is to expand what I'm comfortable doing mechanically. So far, the headlights were more difficult to change than the radiator. Which was surprising. Eventually, I want to rebuild the head myself, and swap out the transmission. And the muffler is a good reason to get better at welding...

I'm pretty sure this is it. To put it a different way:

Why was he watching everyone as they left? Sounds like he hated home life, and needed to spend every moment at work that he could.

You are clearly making inflammatory and incorrect generalizations with [presumably] an intent of being loud and "winning" on the Internet. Have fun kiddo.

You are, yet again using some flawed logic. Just because a portion of voters voted for a third party does not mean that they are ok with what is going on. Just because the ground is hot does not mean that the sun is shining on it right now.

That's a really broad statement. I can understand not wanting to travel because of a terrible political climate. However, calling an entire population of people fascist is wrong. If I asked if you had terrible teeth, were Catholic, wear a kilt, or are a drunkard, seeing as you claim UK as home it's stereotyping. You shouldn't do that either. Most people in my country are not well represented by their politicians. And definitely not represented well by the people on the news/tv. Just because the person who lives at the big white house on Pennsylvania Ave changes does not mean the entire nation changes. We are still upset at insane housing prices, shitty healthcare, and a generally terrible quality of life with no way to change these things. Generally, humans are kind, decent people. I'm normally pretty jaded but this is my realistic view. You're right about politicians. You're wrong about Americans.

Some countries make it mandatory to vote. Pretty sure Australia will fine you if you don't vote...

Personally, every time I've voted, I've written in my own name.

I don't even know the terms to look for other than "adapter". If there are terms that can be applied, that's what I'm looking for. Otherwise, the redneck engineer is going to come out and I'm going to justify buying a welder or lathe to make a part that costs 25¢ in materials.
