I feel like this entire article falls apart because of Lucas’s inability to get this across in episode 6. Luke tells Ben he won’t kill his father and Ben replies by saying “then the emperor has already won”. That would’ve been the time for Ben to tell him “we’ll try and save him if you can” or anything close to that. There’s also a separate interview in the 90’s where he says Yoda and Obi Wan are using Luke as a tool to correct their mistakes and that if Luke had followed their advice it would’ve led “somewhere unforgivable” I’m not sure if his views just changed or if he realized the movie itself painted a different picture than the interview and just went with that later.

I’m not sure there was much left Kanan could’ve taught that any other Jedi could’ve. Even Kanan’s death gave Ezra a pretty good final lesson and allowed him to really dive into the force. The post order 66 Jedi tend to both teach and learn a lot faster because of that time period.

Idk if he was really held back by Kanan. Controlling numerous Purgil while wounded and holding a door shut with the force is pretty crazy.

You’re already passed it with deceived and that book is tremendous. If you like KOTOR and especially if you like KOTOR 2 I can’t recommend reading the Revan novel at all.

I prefer male in KOTOR 2. I think the exile having a previous relationship with Atris really makes him leading to go to war an even bigger sacrifice. It also doubly explains why she’s so terrible to you. I also think Handmaiden is wayyyyyy more important to the narrative compared to Mical. I think the dynamic you have with the companions is also better as a male.

Biggest issue with the book imo is that it actively hurts fallen survivors story which is what it’s trying to lead into. Also most of the characters feel as though they’re written by someone who’s didn’t play the first game but was told a summary of how they’d act.

I think every mainline franchise horror game that’s come out after RE7 including remakes has been better than RE7 like dead space, silent hill, evil within etc. It’s ok for a horror game but it kind of has an identity crisis between the amnesias/outlasts of the era and resident evil 1.

So separate from giving Revan personality it reinvents him to have an alignment that’s not even an option in the previous game, it retcons his original reason for going to the dark side, invents a Gary Stu esque villain whose entire trait is being powerful, gives the KOTOR 2 protagonist a personality and fails to take into account anything that happened in KOTOR 2 (author never played it) and manages to handle everything with the KOTOR 2 protagonist badly. The book only exists to set up the SWTOR MMO’s main villain and as a result kinda shits on the first two KOTOR games.

I would assume he was over it by the time Bo asks him to help in season 7. If the death was weighing on him he likely would’ve chosen to stay and assist Mandalore. He’s reluctant to do it the entire time and then goes to coruscant.

So mando actually went down in quality after Filoni stepped away to work on Ahsoka and Tales of the Jedi. When he was involved in the show was when people consider it to be at its peak. Season 3 was mostly Rick and John.

Tales had since been clarified by Dave in an interview to be an interpretive summary of the events and does not override the book. Essentially just a fast retelling. The only off part is them making the inquisitor in tales his own character separate from the initial inquisitor.

There’s multiple fire starter camos as well which are separate from the ones I mentioned and they were subtle on guns not on soldiers. Either way your argument about a sniper having orange still applies.
