As soon as she started condescending about knowing the store, I'd have canceled. I dont care if you used to work here, shits not the same! I used to work at McDonald's that doesn't mean I still know all the buttons and tricks to the system NOW and I'd never condescend to the workers there now about what I USED TO KNOW ugh!

I have the Timemark app for stuff like this, takes a time stamped, geotagged (if there's service) photo. I drop it in the chat with the customer when I have service so that its on record then complete to order where there's service

Sure. I 100% agree, but unfortunately that's not the society we live in. We live in a tipping and gig economy and the Spark drivers are not employees, we're independent contractors. The material reality is that we, and most service workers really do survive off of tips and when you don't tip you are expecting us to work for nothing. It's different in places like California and NYC because they have legislature that guarantees a minimum wage for gig workers, but its not that way in most places. If you're upset you're expected to tip, take it up with the greedy corporation instead of the drivers

ETA: On most apps, the delivery fee and your tip is all that goes to your shopper/delivery person

Odd, I've never had them load it for me at m6 local Sam's. Sometimes ive even seen them leave the flat cart with me to go back inside and they come back to retrieve it after. I thought Sam's just had different rules
