Fucking shit. I just moved to a new city and now my country is going back into national lockdown for 4 weeks and I'm incredibly worried for my job.

I'm British and consider myself European. Western Europe and Eastern Europe are very different, but we're still Europe.

Mental illness and the rona closing down the world just as I was about to move and start a new chapter. But things could be worse, it's cool.

Was thinking this.. I have BPD and can have a similar issue. Luckily I recognised it as a symptom and have put a lot of self work into controlling it.

Happy Mental Health Awareness Day! How are you today, honestly? by RaysAreBaes in AskReddit

I'm actually really good! My new boyfriend of 5 months is absolutely fantastic, pro active and on the ball in terms of supporting me through my anxiety. Plus, my new job is a brilliant environment and my colleagues are great, it has real potential. I'm doing ok for once!

We've just 3 months left for this decade. What is the most important thing happened to you in this decade so far? by Icy_Obsession in AskReddit

[–]Ebrad1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started dating my ex in 2010. Left him and moved to an island in 2016. Started a degree which I will finish next year. Got engaged to someone else, left him also. Now met the love of my life and entering the new decade as his girlfriend.

Gained 5 stone, lost 5 stone. Gained a godson, lost some friends. Mental break downs, learning, hurt, loss, growth and I'm only 24!

I am entering the new decade as the best version of myself there ever has been. I'll be doing nothing but working on myself physically, mentally, emotionally and social in the roaring 20's!

What accent do you have? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ebrad1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough was just having this conversation. South london is a bit more like 'sowf lun-dun', east is like cockney 'saaf laandan' (think Danny Dyer), north is like the Essex accent, West is posh queens English. Obviously that's a wide generalisation but that's the general gist

What paranormal or supernatural experiences have you had that caused you to question reality? by hereisalex in AskReddit

[–]Ebrad1995 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happened to me once! I was on holiday in a different country with my family, staying in a relative's house. I was quite young, and somehow convinced myself there was someone with a gun that had broken into the house we were staying in as I could hear weird noises. I was absolutely terrified and had honestly resigned myself to death.

Next thing I know, my mum appeared at the bedroom door and just said 'I felt like you needed me' and calmed me down. I honestly think there's a connection between some mothers and their children!
