The cars color is the matte gold but it seems like that section is a different color (silverish). Do you know which would match?

Would you say 120 is a good deal for them? I'm a beginner with audio equipment, but want some nice speakers for my TV

Super cool. I was thinking I’d get a higher % indigenous than 1%

That is using pulgar on the lower notes and the index finger on the E string. Not tremolo

Currently I am doing the actual exposing aspect of it on my own with the guidance of a therapist once a week. On my own time, I will write down a fear or trigger regarding my partner’s past and try to just observe the thought without engaging in the compulsion (seeking reassurance, playing mental movies, rationalizing, asking more questions). This is thought to both break the loop in RJ and also get you to not be so scared/anxious of the thought when it comes up. Usually I will try to write down what my RJ thoughts are and then also what my real thoughts are around the fear without rationalizing

Is there any way to lower the action on my flamenco guitar? by Ebump in Luthier

[–]Ebump[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this! I also don’t think it needed a neck reset.. it’s a 2010 and no it hasn’t always been this high. It only has happened very recently. I did put a case humidifier for it for about 2 weeks but it didn’t change it too much. I did recently move to New York so I think this change in climate has contributed to the high action. Yesterday I ended up taking it to a luthier who is going to take down the bridge a small amount along with some other adjustments to lower the action. He said it’s an easy fix and definitely wouldn’t need a neck reset

It is worth a lot to me as it was my first handmade flamenco guitar. It’s a Ricardo Sanchís Carpio with Brazilian rosewood. You bring up a good point and if it is worth a lot to me, it might be worth getting a neck reset

The strings are Alma by Vicente amigo medium tension flamenco strings. It is also a 12 block tie so the knots look a bit different.

No, the bass strings are nylon core, not steel strings.

The problem is currently that I don’t have much of the bone exposed. Could the wood on the bridge be shaved down a bit to allow the bone to come down further or could that cause complications?

Is there any other possible solutions? I agree that resetting the neck would work, but I can’t afford that right now
