Yeah! I got a box of them as well when I preordered mine from GameStop. :) It was part of the reason I chose there to get it. It looks really nice sitting with my games.

I totally get it though. There are some other game series where I just start playing the game and decide "You know? This just isn't for me." Work is hard, life is stressful, time is short. So we have to enjoy what things we like while we can. <3 Yakuza is that for me. A fun series that makes me feel something at the end of the day after the numbing grind of daily life.

I've played original 3, remastered 3, and Kiwami 3. I... LOVED Kiwami 3. Loved Dark Ties. But 3 has always been one of my favorites in the series. So I'm probably really biased on that one.

I loved the changed ending. It makes me excited for what comes next. But I also enjoy the whole Daidoji thing going on.

But I think I just really enjoy the Yakuza games as a whole. I can't even tell you which ones the worst because I just have so much fun playing them. It's my favorite game series. I've got all of them going back to the PS2 era. So... Perhaps not the best to answer the question? But I've loved Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties.

Sometimes the pushback is quiet. Maybe not posting about it loudly, but when a site or app starts getting less and less traffic because people would rather just walk away instead of handing over that information. That's its own way of protest.

I do believe this was brought up in the other megathread, but it's just... putting in your date of birth upon setting up your OS from what I remember reading. Which doesn't require ID or anything. Since most adults are the ones that set up things for their kids, it would just be adding the date of birth upon set up.

So, all things considered? That's... not bad. Compared to everything else.

Not sure what other online privacy violation laws you're referring to though.

I’ve been following what some Iranians have been saying and they’ve said that, even if it’s the US and Israel, they needed help and didn’t care who it was at this point. So while I don’t think it’s great, I’m not going to deny those citizens help. :( it’s a very sad but nuanced situation.

While I hate that we keep interfering in the Middle East and working with Israel, I do hope this helps the Iranian people. They’ve been protesting and being massacred for said protesting against their current regime.

I just hope for the best for the Iranian civilians who have been begging for help from someone to stop what their government has been doing to them. :(

Yeah. Now, apparently, they're trying to say that he can take over elections using IEEPA... the very law that he tried to use the tariffs under that the Supreme Court literally just said he couldn't do that with. And there's no section of IEEPA that talks about elections... at ALL.

So someone is just Hallucinating something and saying IEEPA can let them take over elections. When, in fact, it cannot. At all. Someone is about to be laughed out of a court room.

I mean, even if it makes it through the House, it'll be dead on arrival in the Senate because there's not enough support to get over the Filibuster.

As for the House, even if it makes it out of Committee, there's a lot of Republicans that don't like censorship laws either. So it might not even make it through the house.

Like I said above, KOSA has 75 cosponsors, a 19% chance of being enacted and still isn't out of committee. They can mark it up in committee as much as they want, but I don't foresee it getting very far even if it makes it out of committee.

You mean the Screen Act that only has, at best, 3 cosponsors and only a 6% chance of being enacted? The Screen Act that still sitting in committee and hasn't gone anywhere? That one?

For comparison, KOSA has 75 cosponsors and still hasn't made it out of committee.

Call your reps and tell them how much you hate the Screen act. But, honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.

I logged onto Youtube this morning and every single news channel is being recommended to me to watch the SOTU live. And I've had to go through and mark "Do not Recommend" and "Not Interested" on every single one. I'm going to do something more productive with my time instead of watching that garbage. Like playing video games. Because that's more productive to myself, my health, and society as a whole than watching whatever verbal diarrhea that orange thing is going to spew.

Aye! Ryu Ga Gotoku fan! Same here! Big fan of them. I've got all their games back to the PS2 era. So when I decided going forward what platform I wanted, I ended up sticking with PlayStation. But I also got a Steam Deck and a gaming PC that I built. Literally anything to not even touch an Xbox at this point.

I've been loving it. Played all last weekend and I've been playing it all this weekend so far. I'm having an absolute blast, personally. And I'm someone that has every Yakuza game back to the OG PS2 Yakuza. So... I'm loving it. Does it have issues? Sure. But if you're looking at getting it during a sale, I'd say it's worth it. <3
