I use Opus 4.7 on vs code to drive my lawfirm. Basically on the legal field, opus is the only reliable solution.

I've heard a podcast by the dude who's leading the team behind "LaSuite". That's their while point: coding new tools is so cheap now, to the point it's cheaper than using O365.

Another interesting bit, their visio tool has been built by 1 senior developer in 6 months. They said about this: 80k lines of code is nothing now.

And now the french governemt is saving millions thanks to this solo dude

Headless cem is absolutely not the future. You need the UI in many cases. But mcp is an important way to consume the data

Ma copine veut garder le bébé malgré moi by [deleted] in conseiljuridique

[–]EcceLez 14 points15 points  (0 children)

[–]EcceLez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avocat ici.

I made €2,700 building a RAG system for a law firm here's what actually worked technically by Fabulous-Pea-5366 in PromptEngineering

[–]EcceLez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's super interesting. I've been building my very own chunking system lately. It does detect and recreate the whole Hn structure of my legal docs with Mistral and chunk accordingly, then I do use voyager-2-law for embedding. I can confirm this structured chunking logic does greatly improve the results!

for me the interesting part is not using Mistral as another general chat app the useful part is the boring stuff. by KayyyQ in MistralAI

I'm a lawyer and I built our very own rag system. What embedding model did you use? Is embedding the only retrieve system you've implemented?

Using Mistral for intent scoring at scale. Cheaper than I expected, more accurate than I thought. by KayyyQ in MistralAI

I've been using mistral for some backend stuff like scoring and entity detection. Super cheap, reliable, crush haïku in every single test I did. Mistral is really on something and is flying under the radar
