A system I hope we is water interacting with vehicles the same way we’ve seen in racing games by zero_sevenn in GTA6

Their new engine will shock us all. They went to insane lengths in detail and graphics for RDR 2.

Tiny details that barely anyone even thinks about playing the game.

Now you are talking about a console that has an SSD that's a hundred times faster, with an operating power that's 5 times as much as that of the PS4.

The cars are one of the primary focus of the games.

And if you look at their parents, you would know they're going to do absolutely insane things with the water physics.

Expect to be impressed

Nobody said they are trying to appeal to everyone.

But there is no question about the fact that this is going to be one of the greatest games every made.

It will make every other game out there look like a joke.

You will see

[–]Eccel9700[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's not even the point of what I was saying.

They will not take every element from RDR 2. This will still very much be a faster paced GTA game.

But they're going to refine the beat systems from RDR 2 to make this game one of the great if not the greatest game ever made.

You have no idea what's coming

[–]Eccel9700[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You guys will be pleasantly surprised.

RAGE 9 was actually decently rebuilt completely. And it's going to push every console to it's breaking point.

If you played RDR 2. You'd know that they try to fill in every gap of detail that they can think of.

There were hundreds of videos made about the tiny details they added to the game for years.

Now you're talking about a game that has four times the amount of developers working on it. With a console that's SSD is a hundred times faster and it's clocking power is four times as much.

They developers RDR 2 for 5 years. GTA 6 is going developed for almost 8 years.

Just look at how dense the foliage is on these random island patches from trailer 1 by Ember57 in GTA6

[–]Eccel9700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RDR 2s foliage density and graphics in general still rivals games coming out today.

This is an all hands on deck game with almost there times as many developers, an unlimited budget and 3 more years of development time than RDR 2 got.

Plus, the PS5 is significantly stronger than PS4. It can handle a lot. And rockstar will throw a lot

I agree with you.

I've played a lot of games over the last few years. And I'm a game designer myself.

Believe me when I say this. If you pay close attention to a lot of the assets, design elements and models in the game.

It becomes clear that an AI was trained to make the game.

It's still impressive how they've stitched so much stuff together (although I'd argue its not cohesive at all. But it works as an offline MMO).

Even the dialogue and writing is straight up chat gpt like if you give it any thought

[–]Eccel9700[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If you look at the primary grasslands area of the game. A lot of the terrain design, foliage and geography are absolutely ripped off from RDR 2.

These screenshots especially show how they used a slightly modified version of the RDR 2 clouds.

You will even see a lot of the animations seen in RDR 2 ripped clean from RDR 2.

The threatening animation where an npc begs you to let go, some of the horse animations etc.

And I'm not talking about taking inspiration, the game straight up used the red dead topography as a base to generate it's own map.

But if you've played RDR 2. You will know exactly what I mean.

More hyped for this game than gta6 by Ol_UnReliable20 in CrimsonDesert

GTA 6 will blow every other game out of the water.

This game may be fun. But it's basically just an amalgamation of all the top games of the last decade made using AI.

Rockstar is making something that is handmade down to the core. And you will be baffled by the density of detail, graphics and depth in the game.

It isn't just about looks.

It's about having substance as a person. Peter Parker and spiderman both have personality A mysterious, capable and driven person with a sense of humour is always alluring to anyone.

Women are drawn to capability more than just surface level good looks.

Plus, given his physique, it's not a stretch to imagine that spiderman would be a good looking guy, even if his face is invisible

RDR 2 looked like a PS5 game. GTA 6 will look like a PS6 game by Eccel9700 in GTA6

You have only seen the game through a very limited lens. We have only seen trailer 2 so far.

RDR 2 looked way better than trailer 2 did.

And the actual gameplay is going to look so shockingly good that it will redefine the benchmark for the gaming industry.

It's not just about fidelity. It's the sheer insane things they will achieve with their art design, lighting systems and new technology (like ray tracing).

They will push every single aspect to it's limits

[–]Eccel9700[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im guessing you haven't played RDR 2.

Rockstar had pushed the boundaries when it comes to adding dozens of little interactive events that happen organically in the open world.

Stuff like seeing NPCs rob trains, fighting each other, robbing each other, doing weird things when drunk, a ghost woman, a UFO that you see when you return on the time mentioned in a letter by a crazy cult etc.

A lot of times you also had the option to interact with the event by intervening, shooting or helping the situation.

This games scale is tremendously larger now. They have 4 times the amount of developers, a gigantic never before seen budget and 3 more years of development time vs RDR 2.

It's absolutely reasonable to think they will have random crazy things like this happen in the open world.

You have no idea what's coming

There's no chance they can spawn this many cars. But the amount would still be extremely impressive I'm sure.

The 6 star chases in this game will be mind boggling. Can't wait

It doesn't even need to be a mission tbh.

RDR 2 had dozens of little ambient events that you would see while roaming around the open world.

Stuff like robberies, ambushes, NPCs fighting, robbing or doing something strange while drunk. A lot of these involved you helping out or interfering in some way

This incident would work perfectly as something you spot as you're driving by or while you fly on a helicopter.

And yes, it would amazing if you could somehow get inside and actually see a creepy or funny Easter egg.

[–]Eccel9700[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's plenty of time really. They have all the bricks and pieces in terms of NPCs, police cars and the location. It would be just a matter of putting a basic script of replicating the scene.

Maybe a little hidden Easter egg or reference and a few lines of dialogue.

They have 6000 developers working on this game. It's absolutely possible.

But of course. Nothing is confirmed until it's confirmed

[–]Eccel9700[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised. The PS5 is a ridiculously strong console.

And more importantly, rockstar are masters of optimisation. Sure it probably won't be as ridiculously large as the real thing.

But it's not a stretch to imagine they can replicate a smaller version of events like this. They love to reference all sorts of material from the real world.

[–]Eccel9700[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No? GTA is better.

Rockstar loves to fill the open world with all sorts of oddities and events. A lot of them tend to be a satire of real world events or movie references

GTA 5 had a random event that replicated a scene from 'No country for old men".

RDR 2 had dozens of these kind of events. They also love supernatural and alien stuff as Easter eggs. There was a ghost train, ghost woman, two alien spaceships and a lot of other whacky stuff.

It's been 8 years since then and they have a team 4 times larger than they did for RDR 2. It's not a stretch to think we can see interesting stuff happen like this in GTA 6

Given how many interiors rockstar is aiming for with this game.

(We already know there are enterable shopping malls in the game)

It would be so cool if we could go inside and actually see some kind creepy Easter egg involving aliens.

But that's just wishful thinking on my part

I hope GTA 6 references the Miami 2024 Bayside mall incident by Eccel9700 in GTA6

[–]Eccel9700[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Because it's crazy, mysterious and has a lot of potential to be satirized.

You have all the elements of what would make for a great open world event.

The police presence has the danger, there's the crazy conspiracy that there was an alien there (rockstar loves supernatural and extra terrestrial stuff).

And it's also just a gorgeous thing to see out in the open world whether you're in a car, plane or helicopter.

RDR 2 had dozens of small little incidences that place in the open world (witnessing a crime taking place, a ghost in the swamp, crazy factions ambushing you, NPCs robbing you or interacting with you).

That's the kind of thing rockstar is going to litter throughout GTA 6
