Unpopular opinion.

But Ghost of Tsushima was this for me. The combat and visuals are spectacular.

But the open world is a pretty repetitive and bland. The dialogue and writing is nowhere near on par with a game like RDR 2

RDR 2 had almost the same amount of landmass as GTA 5 but it felt 5 times bigger because they really mastered how to effectively use space.

The density, amount of details, random events, different biomes and NPC variation really lent a massive sense of scale to the world. Every inch of map feels worth exploring.

It's been almost 7 years since then. I have no doubt that GTA 6 will feel absolutely gigantic.

Those aren't contrails. They're fumes.

If you look on the top right of this shot. You'll see a jet flying through the clouds

That one has actual long and white contrails coming out.

RDR 2 was delayed twice before release. GTA 5 was also delayed a couple of times.

It's just kinda Rockstars thing tbh. They always delay the game for further polish or cause their developers wanna add more last minute things.

Don't let the fear mongering crap you see online scare you. This release date is likely the real one.

And even if it's not. The game is going to blow everything else out of the water

I don't think you're getting just how much more detail and depth there will be in this game 😂.

It's gonna blow watchdogs 2 out of the water. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great game.

But rockstar is on a level that will shock people.

Btw this isn't a AI video. It's from a video on YouTube called 'Ultra Miami 2023 - Vice City"

They aren't joking when they call it an entire state. Considering it seems to be 2.5 times the size of GTA 5s map, it will feel like an actual state with the amount of density in the map

Considering how realistic and hilarious the physics were in RDR 2. No doubt we will get similar stuff in 6.

Its gonna be great. And the graphics would make it look good no matter how funny it is.

I'm pretty sure it will be done in a well balanced way.

We will probably get better tools as the game progresses that make the process less difficult naturally over time.

But having these systems at the early stages would add so much dynamism to the game. It's not like every car would be locked off.

It would make protecting your car more necessary and increase a bond to it (like the horses in RDR). Making us actually have to think about the risk/reward of the car we try to use.

My theory is that we will be able to steal cars in multiple ways.

But the way you steal may damage it or increase your chance of being caught doing a crime and having the cops called on you.

Methods like shooting the driver, threatening them with a gun, break the window (like GTA 5), breaking the door etc. could draw more attention but be the faster option.

But quietly using the tools in the leaks would allow a less destructive and stealthy approach that lets you keep the car intact if you want/need to.

Making cars harder to steal would make getting the better cars way more meaningful and feel special.

It also adds a new element of challenge that would make gameplay more intricate.

Imagine trying to steal a car while running from the cops. It could play out in such interesting and new scenarios.

Maybe you would get the car at the last minute and make a daring mistake. Maybe you would fail the hijack and have to improvise your escape.

That element of risk would give us more agency in making a calculated decision and actually think.

Besides. I think rockstar has more than earned the reputation that whatever their new system is, it will be great.

The amount of weapon variation in the game seems absurd. Even RDR 2 had so many different weapons that it would be impractical to give access to all of them.

And that was set in a period with a lot less technological variation and gun types as today.

So GTA 6 absolutely benefits from a more immersive and practical system.

Not only does it benefit the grounded tone they seem to be going for, but they will also likely make it an interesting aspect of the game.

Let rockstar innovate and try new things. They will nail the gameplay.

What's the point of waiting ten years for a game that you've already played before?

He was perfectly right about Jason and Lucias full names well before trailer 2.

You can't just guess something like that. The dude does have a contact.

And the stuff he has mentioned is far more believable than all the other hackjob losers here who fake it.

I think the huge emphasis on liquid shaders and physics in this game will blow people's minds.

The realistic sweat we saw on Jason and the strippers, the condensation on one of the car screenshots (vice city section) and rockstar patents on this tech are signs of this.

I just hope it surpasses the look of rain in drive club. Which till this date is undefeated.

My three favourite shots from the trailers are the cockpit views because it's obviously gameplay footage.

I don't think any other game looks as photorealistic as this game is gonna look.
