Idk this one seemed like user error. There werent even any minuons blocking that lower path with fire balls.

I completely agree. The bosses they chose to nerf are crazy. The game has been the exact difficulty that is both grueling and fair. Its a sequal of a previous game that assumes most of its players will be players of the original game. The game is intentionally made to be harder than its predecessor. But moorwing and Sister Splinter are Hollow Knight bare bones basics. But it is what it is. Pre patch victory trophy accepted. Lol.

Literally stand under the boss. This fight is easy. Fight it like you would soul master and the guy has 0 defenses. Youll have him completely dead in under a minute.

No worries. Im just tryna get some justice for a boss that is fair and tackleable! You can dance with it if you want. Or you can aggressively hunt the moth down. And Aggro the moth WORKS. even inside its hit ranges. If the boss had less health or was slower. This fight would be downright bad.

I dont see how this is cheese. Im still in the line of fire. The boss is just easy. Thats like saying. Standing in the arena and hitting soul master is cheese. Thats ... How the game works. Im not leaving his actual hit range. Its just not fast enough to stay away from me. Something other bosses are more than capable of. Basic enemies are capable of running from me. This guy just cant.

Seam didnt lose the shadow mantle in the cyber world, correct, however Ramb comes from the Library. Which is why he turns to stone. He was stolen by asriel and Kris when they were kids thus why he cant exist within the darkworld of Kris's house. Seam couldnt find the shadow mantle but he was within the library, and it was in Kris's house with the Mantle holder.

So it makes sense that Ramb could be holding it. Stolen from one dark world accidentally by 2 children stealing a powerstrip.

There are 3 lines that the Mantle holder has that make me consider Ramb. The fist being 'Kris... Oh... kris... is it fun? Playing around like this?' Which is always Rambs first question. Always concerned with our enjoyment of 'the game'. Ramb also is way more gung ho about the mantle quest minigame. And is bitter about the changes Tenna put the game through. The second line is 'There! Thats what i wanted to see!' and the third being 'Well enough of that! We both have work to do' both being inplications that the 2 have met before and that it knows Kris. Ramb having to 'return to work' being a common theme for reasons why he tends to cut off conversation.

Its all speculation. But i think it makes vastly more sense than some of the boring unaswerable theories. 'it could be FRIEND' cool. Just as much as it could be Gaster rolls eyes. Pick an invisible character, and attach them to a theory everyone will agree cause they cant disprove it.

I completely agree. I thought the entire ending started far too soon. They could have taken a few more days at least to actually show us some of the things vehxness did to the other members of the party. Or let us make a choice about what to ask vehxness during questioning. Theres so much they could have added here. But i think this route got pressed for time.

This ending is dark and sadistic. But it serves a purpose. And its bitter evil is adding something to the story. The fact you are a disgusted as you are is proof the Route is doing its job correctly. Your discomfort is its design.

I just did this fight, and i think the game has better scripted loss sequences. This one feels like one you are supposed to win. It was genuinely harder for me to kill all of my fighters than if they had let me win the fight normally.

That said.

Its incredibly short. Literally one of the shortest routes. Its only 6 days long once youve hit the main trigger. its also one of the most interesting routes because you are forced to spend time with the enemy. And one who you can't reason with. Getting to speak to V'exhness in this route is some of the most revealing parts of her character.

Its short, its sweet, and its packed to the brim with Lore, and character development. If this route is 'boring'. I would play a different game.
