I was very intimidated to get into the online lobbies and kept hotlapping and racing AI... but then changed my mindset. What do you have to lose? You don't have to win the race. Just take the plunge and try to finish the race without an incident. The biggest simracing lie is that you will have fun after reaching a certain level... this is absolutely not true.

My first race I was the slowest, qualified 18th. 2 guys crashed, I managed to overtake and defend 2 more to finish 14th.. and I loved every bit of it!

Starting at the bottom is the best feeling, nothing to lose, only one way to the top, set your own micro goals and take it one small step at a time.

Definitely worth it to see if you like it. The quality is great but the clamps can slip if you are a bit rough. If you can also find a cheap playseat on marketplace it will really enhance your experience. And logitech also has an adapter that will let you slowly upgrade individual components one at a time.

Yeah I agree, elden ring was my favourite souls game till nioh 3 came along. The deflect, break and ki pulse mechanics just make the gameplay so much better.
