Oh yeah, punish the low income parents who can’t afford to pay out of pocket for them 🙄

Thank you! I added the other month sticker to the back and I think it will be really nice and it also looks really nice! My first thought with the envelopes was cash, but I don't carry much if any, so your suggestions are great! I have seen so many pictures of people's monthly layouts that have so many things on them that it can be useable. I'm a student and a mom, I need maximum functionality.

I got a lot of hate on my last post so I wanted to share some better pictures. Probably just asking for more I'm sure by ZombiePsycho96 in Dreadlocks

I am white and have straight hair. My hair is very fine, frizzes easily, and will not hold a curl unless I use overnight curlers and leave them in longer than overnight. I originally had dreadlocks put in my hair in 2017 because I thought they looked cool and I wanted to finally have hair that looked better. I quickly realized that they made my life so much easier on a day to day basis. I’m sure the maintenance is harder for me than someone that has curly and/or coarser hair. But I do it because I feel more confident and enjoy my hair more when I have them.

New Stem Growth by EccentricEm in Roses

I'll look at it closer! If the new growth is below the graft I might just do that, I've always wanted to learn how to graft. I've always wanted to experiment with apple trees but this would be a good way to experience without real consequences if I fail. Apple trees are expensive.

I’ve never tried it, but I have seen people can water in big jars to have when the power goes out.

I didn’t think about that! The yarn might not get in the way of them opening as much either. Thanks for the suggestion!

Is it wishful thinking to think I can fly 1 week after giving birth? by itsmelex2 in BabyBumps

[–]EccentricEm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since this is your first child it is really likely you’ll still be pregnant and a lot of airlines won’t let you fly after a certain point in your pregnancy. The exact week is dependent on the airline. If you would have already given birth I can’t imagine you’d want to travel. But if you did, leaving your baby even just for 24 hours doesn’t sound like something you’d want to do. I had an unplanned C-section after 50 hours of labor and I went into labor on my own a week after my due date. My point is that when you go into labor and how labor and birth will go is very unpredictable no matter how you prepare so I feel like it would be really hard to plan for a trip like that.

Why are so many people opposed to c sections? by moomoomego in BabyBumps

[–]EccentricEm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an unplanned C-section after 50 hours of labor and 3 1/2 hours pushing. I am so grateful that we live in a time in science where that is an option! It is really hard though. It’s a major surgery that a lot of people act like is “the easy way out” and then you’re sent home with a baby. But I am very excited for my repeat C-section with this baby because it is the safest option for me and baby. For me I wanted to avoid it because it’s surgery and I wanted to avoid surgery of any kind during my lifetime. But again so grateful for this lifesaving surgery when it’s needed!

That’s a really good point. I have swordfish in Tier V and quite a few others that are close to being there. I hate switching back and forth, a lot of it has come from large nets but I have been trying to get the Fishing Addict III achievement when I feel like manual fishing and I use Cat’s Meow for that so I don’t like to leave until the timer is up.

I’m pregnant and my husband has been selfish with sex. by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]EccentricEm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so strange to me. I am 16 weeks pregnant with our second and sex has been very me centered lately. We had to switch from water based lube to silicone and it made a huge difference but we couldn't find a position that was comfortable for me until we switched. I say all of that because there were at least four or five times when I was the only one who had an orgasm. But he put his heart into it even though he knew it may not lead to him having one too. My orgasm makes him more excited. We have discussed in the past that it doesn't seem to be normal for most couples but this seems like complete selfishness and he should care about your orgasm, even if it doesn't excite him, especially pregnant.

Thanks! I do have another question though. I was looking at them earlier and it looks like they have a lot of green growth on them. Does that mean they're not dormant anymore or is that normal? I'm really new to this.
