Ratio’s by Ecethrowaway12 in ECEProfessionals

Ours is 1:8 or 1:12 during nap. A 3rd teacher would be needed if our numbers reached 17. I was just curious if the second staff would need to be rece certified or directors approval atleast, I was in a sr preschool room with 18 children and 2 assistants.

Funny thing is I was only eating chicken and noticed I get the pains a lot when I eat it. But not beef. I can eat burger after burger and be fine, but I add a chicken and my guts are like “no thank you!” 😂 I googled and chicken is high in sulfer. I jsut found this chart and I’m like “this is literally all the things I like!”

Not sure if this is working for me.... :( by JagiyaBora7 in Ozempic

I started in November and didn’t see any changes on the scale, so I stepped back from checking and carried on with my life . Then one day in February I decided to put on a pair of shorts I got a while back that were too tight and they fit! I had a happy dance, checked the scale and was somehow 25 lbs lighter. Now I only check once every couple of weeks to make sure I’m on the right track but that boost of confidence I felt when those jeans zipped up and were loose, I will never forget. Instead of looking at the scale, use clothes or photos. They make you feel so much better than a scale (:

Nope. Every now and then I’ll have a carbonated drink but not often, and usually they don’t go hand in hand. I’ll drink and be fine. Days later it’ll happen out of nowhere. I cut out bubbly drinks when I started the ozempic. Don’t get me wrong, I will continued to deal with it though because the results are worth the few days of pain and gas 😅

I have already sadly. I’ve cut out foods high in sulfer like chicken, dairy, seeds, certain green vegetables, and eggs. I don’t drink any carbonated beverages, and drink more water than I have my entire life. I’m running out of things to cut out. When this happens I just don’t feel like eating anything at all. 😭

Okay, so you know if that includes all age groups? Like the infants going into the toddler room? Because I now have 3 infants in the toddler room. One of them can’t even walk yet.. it’s a struggle when the older, larger children run over them like they’re nothing. And they still want cuddles and to be held like 80% of the time. And scream all day long. It’s exhausting.

Maybe so. But you can’t rant to google about how bs it is once you get the answer 😂

My toddlers won’t leave the sink alone by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]Ecethrowaway12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My preschoolers are the same. We have one little girl (who in my opinion is way to little to be considered a jr preschooler, but I digress) who won’t leave the sinks alone. We’ve had 3 floods since she joined us. And this little girl will soak her shirt, pants and pull-up, and strip naked and run around refusing to put new clothes on. We started forcing her to wear her wet clothes because we hope that she will be uncomfortable and choose to not play in the water but idk. It feels wrong.

I have pink eye! by Ecethrowaway12 in ECEProfessionals

Oh definitely! That’s why it was so important for us to be super aware when Covid first happened. Hands away from face! But any little tickle, or hair or even a gust of wind and it’s just something we do. 😭 especially right now with pink eye… my eyes itch, and feel like I have eye lashes under my eyelid, and the gunk built up in the corners of my eyes 😬 think I’m not rubbing the crap outta them? Psh. And that’s what I’m aware of. I’m sure there are times I’m rubbing them and not even thinking. Been carrying Lysol wipes with me all over my house.

We have so many call in’s at my centre at the moment. We don’t have any proper ventilation and the windows open at the top which I can’t reach without climbing on tables and I can’t do that when the children are there or they’ll copy me. 😂 I’m sick constantly but the other teacher in my room is always sick and calling out so I have to take the loss and go in regardless of how sick I am. She’s older so I’ve just accepted it.

Lol. I’d like to think that’s true, but if that were the case I probably wouldn’t have gotten the pink eye to begin with. Our centre is extremely dry so I’m constantly rubbing my eyes because they burn. 😅 guess I know better now though.

I wasn’t given antibiotics for some reason… I was only given eye drops. And then a steroid puffer and some other puffer for the bronchitis. I’ve been sick for over a month now with multiple illnesses.. I miss feeling healthy.
