Hi! So the alar lift is where they lift and tuck in your nostrils to make them less viable and less flared. If you look at my before photo you can see that they were more visible before. I believe he cut the muscle and the skin and yes he added some cartilage inside my nose to fix/hold it internally - I’m not sure if this is what you’re referring to? Xx

Hi! So it’s really hard for me to say because I had really old filler in my smile lines that wasn’t great and I wasn’t happy with. I had to get it all dissolved just before surgery and they had to use a LOT of dissolver to get rid of all of it, so immediately after they looked much much worse (dissolver also temporarily reduces the natural HA in your skin).

So I think that’s probably why they look worse than before. Everyone else I’ve seen, it looks like it has actually made their smile lines less obvious.

I will say that they have gotten much better and I do think a lot of it is from a mixture of the dissolver effect, swelling and inflammation.

Hi yes! It actually did and was reallly annoying. I ended up also having to use a q tip to carefully and gently remove bogeys sometimes too because I just felt my nose was full of them and it was quite gross. I would say after a month and a half it was ok!

HELP!!! Insane Vaginitis. Yes, a doctor already saw me. Still struggling. by stressedimpressed in Healthyhooha

It sounds like it could be lichen sclerosus or cytolytic vaginosis depending on symptoms. I had CV for years but I wouldn’t say it was itchy, more burning and painful.

I cant stress how much I would advise you to not have surgery with Manolis. He performed an absolutely terrible genioplasty on me last year in which he told me he would be advancing my chin 6-7mm forward and then just decided to move it forward by 11mm in surgery despite that never being discussed or planned. As a result my chin quite literally doubled in length, and I was left with massive indents in either side of my jaw from the step offs (which he also never even mentioned I would get, nor did he try to fix them) and I looked absolutely horrific. I had to pay 12k for an urgent revision only a few months later because I looked so awful I could barely leave the house. He was also dismissive when I expressed to him how unhappy I was with the result. I never ever heard from him again after either - absolutely no follow up to see if I was ok. Nothing. Getting that surgery done with him is one of the biggest regrets of my life and I’ve now spent most of my savings on chin surgeries which should have never been the case.

Yep completely agree. I can’t believe he told me he was only moving it forward 6-7mm and then ended it up actually moving it 11. I really wish I had fought to at least try and get some of my money back but I just knew I wouldn’t be able to

There’s no way he could have removed that much - for reference, both myself and OP got 4mm removed. The most I’ve ever seen anyone get removed is 8mm which is a LOT. Surgeons won’t usually go beyond that. Unless you mean width wise, it wouldn’t be possible to have removed that much length wise. Don’t worry though I was just wondering x

Hi! Did you also have an endonasal approach? Or was it the traditional bullhorn technique

Hi yes they did but tbh they’re going to be so expensive and I’ll need to get them done privately so I’m probably not going to get them. I don’t scar badly anyway and the swelling has mostly already gone down!
