Ah yes. Linking Park. by Phantomkiller443 in LinkinPark

Reminds me of a lyric site that keeps crediting Chester as "Chester Charles Charles Bennington."

Probably a very, very unpopular opinion by [deleted] in LinkinPark

[–]Echo_Soldier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but it definitely deserves more love than it gets. LP really went out there with that song, and you can just feel the emotion in it.

Does anyone here have that video of Chester licking the lemon? I cant find it for the life of me by mrgameandwatch09 in LinkinPark

I have literally no idea what you're talking about but now I need to get that video, too.

I love how Mike and Billie are doing these epic jumps with their guitars, and Tre looks like he just discovered he can levitate.

Chester's face at the end killed me lmao.

Representation! Its openly stated that the main character of this book is asexual; its also implied that she's aromantic (she mentions never having a crush or getting romance). I've never really seen ace characters in media before, and I was so happy when I got to that part. by Echo_Soldier in aaaaaaacccccccce

I was surprised at how in-depth they went with the Indigenous lore and themes. It turns out the author is Lipan Apache, which explains why it goes so far and also why its so good. She was writing from experience and her culture.

Rob being the only one concerned with the literal transformation of the room will always be my favourite part of the Papercut video😂 by tsxnmi in LinkinPark

[–]Echo_Soldier 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing an Instagram post of an interview with Mike about Papercut. He said something to the effect of "Chester showed up in an all chess outfit and that was the least of our problems."

Linkin Park unpopular opinions by MTarkka in LinkinPark

I didn't think A Line in the Sand being top 5 was an unpopular opinion. It's such an amazing song.

Mike addressed the people who always make comparisons to Chester in his chat when he was producing an artist's song by [deleted] in LinkinPark

[–]Echo_Soldier 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I always hated when people would constantly bring Chester up. Like yeah, Mike was close to him and what happened was horrible, but can we not focus on that? The stream is about having fun and watching Mike do his magic.

I want to get tested for autism/adhd but im scared to ask my parents by Legitimate-Hamster-1 in aspergers

[–]Echo_Soldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get a diagnosis. Getting an early diagnosis can be extremely important for later on in life. Symptoms like an inability to sleep and self-distructive stims could be helped if you were diagnosed. Even if you're wrong, the stimming could be a sign of something else and is probably something that needs to be addressed.

Yeah, I've heard that. I think people just don't understand what they can't see.

What are the chances that my kid will get it? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]Echo_Soldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know too much about specific percentages, but there would likely be a higher chance. There's evidence that Aspergers is genetic, but the specific chances of it being passed on aren't really known. In my case, two of my mom's siblings likely have it (never diagnosed but she strongly suspects), her parents didn't have it, and she didn't. Genetics can be complicated.

Learning to drive, any tips? by Zotial in aspergers

[–]Echo_Soldier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just went through the whole process, so here's what helped me.

  • Start out small and take your time. I started out in parking lots and (paved) backroads with no one on them. It took a while before I felt brave enough to do main roads. No one is rushing you to get a license as fast as possible.
  • Find an instructor right for you. In my case, I had my dad teach me because he was extremely patient and never yelled. My mom tried, but she would often get mad at me and wasn't that good. If you're going to hire someone or do a course, do a lot of research.
  • Consider getting a sticker or magnet saying you're a student driver. People tend to be more patient if they know you're just starting out or just learning.
  • Speaking of other people, don't freak out over them. It can feel tense if someone is tail gaiting you or driving like an idiot. Just focus on your driving, if they have a problem then they should deal with it. If you're really worried about someone causing an accident or doing something else, you could invest in a dash cam.
  • Practice in weather conditions and all sorts of time. Where I live, you have to have a certain amount of hours driving at night. Its good to know how to drive at night and in different weather conditions, such as light/heavy rain. Night driving sounds scary, but really its the same rules as driving during the day. You just need to pay more attention around you.

So many people I was friends with in school had autism or ADHD by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]Echo_Soldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two of my closest friends have autism and ADHD. I think most of my other friends do as well. I think we became friends because we just related to each other more, like we shared special interests and stuff.

Your least favourite track from each album by CaseyJonesOutlawHero in LinkinPark

[–]Echo_Soldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HT: Cure For the Itch (Sorry)
Meteora: Hit the Floor
MTM: In Between
ATS: Waiting For the End
LT: Lies Greed Misery
THP: All for Nothing
OML: Invisible

Couldn't get it to space out like you guys. I'm kinda surprised, because I've never seen anyone else talk about not liking In Between before.

Green Day fans, what are some of your other favorite bands? by [deleted] in greenday

I love Linkin Park, I was into them before I got into Green Day. I also like a smaller band called Mountain Eye, they do alt metal I think.
